28 of the said Lord Baltemore hath rendered (altho' Often thereunto Required) but the same hitherto to Render hath altogether denyed and the Same Francis the same to render still doth deny whereby the same Margtt Lady Baltemore says she is worse and hath damage to the value of fifteen hundred pounds of tobacco and thereof she brings suite &c and the said Lady Baltemore brings into Court here as well the Letters Testamentary &c as the writing Obligatory afd &c Levin Gale P Quer Pledges Jno Doe R Roe And the afd Thomas Rensha and Underwood Rensha Ex.rs of the afd Francis Rensha dec.d who was Ex.rs of the afd John Rensha by George Dashiel their attorney Come and defend the force and Injury when &c and pray Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the Next Court and they have it and the same day is given to these afd Margarett Baltemore Exrx of Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore also Att which said Next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of august anno Dom One thousand seven hundred & twenty four Came againe as well the afd Thomas Rensha & Underwood Rensha Exrs as afd as the afd Margarett Baltemore Exrx as afd by their attorneys afd and thereupon the said Thomas Rensha & Underwood Rensha Exrs as afd by their said attorney prayed further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the Next Court and they have it and the Same day is given the afd Plft also Att which said Next Court to witt the seventeenth day of November anno Dom One thousand seven hundred & twenty four Came againe as well the afd Thomas Rensha & Underwood Rensha Ex.rs as afd as the afd Margarett Baltemore Exrx as afd by their attorneys afd and thereupon the said Thomas Rensha & Underwood Rensha by their Said attorney prayed further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the Next Court ^and they have it^ & the same day is given to the afd Plft also Att which said Next Court to witt the sixteenth day of March Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and Twenty four Came again as well the afd Thomas Rencher and Underwood Rencher Exrx as afd aa the afd Margarett Baltemore Exrx as afd By their attorneys afd and Thereup^on^ the said Thomas Rencher and Underwood Rencher by their said attorneys Pray'd further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the Next Court ^and they have it^ and the same day is Given to the afd Plft also Att which said Next Court to witt the fifteenth day of June Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and Twenty five Came again as well the afd Thomas Rencher and Underwood Rencher Exrs as afd as the afd Margarett Baltemore Exrx as afd by their attorneys afd and the said Thomas Rensha & Underwood Rensha by their said attorney as before defend the force & Injury when &c and saith that the afd Lady Baltemore her action afd against them to have Ought not because he saith that by a Certain Act of assembly made at asessions of assembly begun and held at the City of annapolis the twenty SIxth day of aprill in the first year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland King defender of the faith anno Dom One thousand seven hundred & fifteen it Stands Enacted amongst Other things that no bill bond Judgm.t Recognizance Statute Merchant of the (Staple) |
