take Isabell Mills if &.c to answer &.c   And afterwards in the Same Court Came the afd Isabell Mills
in her own proper person and being Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe of the premisses
afd says that she is guilty thereof and prays herselfe in Mercy of the Lord proprietary afd and is
willing to pay thirty shillings fine for the fact afd &c

       Wherefore it is Considered by the Court that the afd Isabell Mills be fined to his Lordship thirty shillings
for the fact afd and that she be taken &.c   thereupon the said Isabells is discharged &c paying fees &c

Peter Fitzgerrell
We of the grand Jury do present Peter Fitzgerrell of Somersett parish for begetting
a bastard Child on the body of Isabell Mills on or about the 15.th day of June Last
1726                                                    W.m Lane foreman
       Thereupon Command was given to the Sherr of Somersett County that he should take the said Peter
Fitzgerrell if &.c to answer &.c   And afterwards in the Same Court Came the Said Peter Fitzgerrell and
being Putt to the Barr is Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premisses above
upon ^him^ Imposed says that he is guilty thereof and prays himselfe in Mercy of the Lord proprietary
and is willing to pay thirty shillings fine for the fact afd according to Law &c

          Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that the afd Peter Fitzgerrell give Recognizance
with one security in twenty pounds Sterr Each to save and keep harmless the Inhabitants of Somersett Coty
from time to time and at all times hereafter from all Costs Charges troubles and Burthens whatsoever that
for or by Reason of the birth Nourishm.t and bringing up of the said Child so as afd begott of the afd Isabell
Mills
                                  Thereupon the afd Peter Fitzgerrell with Richard Knight his Security both present
here in Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Right
honrble the Lord proprietary in the sum of twenty pounds ster Each of their goods and Chattells
Lands and tenements Seperately to be Levied and made if to the use of Somersett County if it happen
default be made in the Condition hereunder written

             The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above Bounden Peter Fitzgerrell
his heirs Executors or admrs do from time to time and at all times hereafter acquitt discharge and Save
harmless the Inhabitants of Somersett County from all Costs Charges troubles and burthens whatsoever for
or by Reason of the birth maintainance Nourishm.t and bringing up of the said Child so as afd begott of
the afd Isabell Mills and of and from all other suites Charges troubles and demands whatsoever
touching or Concerning the same &a            Then the above recognizance to be void otherwise &.a
