267 Pleasant a negro girle belonging to Job Sherry is adjudged to the age of Nine years &c Ann a negroe girle belonging to Job Sherry is adjudged to the age of Eight years &c Jenney a negro girle of Job Sherry's is adjudged to the age of ten years &c Pompey a negro Boy belonging to John Brittingham is adjudged by the Court to Eleven years &c
the said County who Intermaried with the Executrix of The said Thomas Latcham present here in Court in his proper person is ordered to give security for the afd twenty ^eight^ three pounds three shillings and Eight Pence according to Law &c Thereupon the said Richard Holland together with a Certain Edmond Crapper and Thomas Mumford his Securitys present here in Court acknowledged themselves to owe and be Indebted unto Thomas and Eliz.a Latcham orphans of the afd Thomas Latcham dec.d in the Sum of fifty six pounds seven shillings and four Pence Curr.t money to be be Levied upon their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the use of the Said Thomas and Eliza Latcham their heirs & assignes seperately to be Levied if it happen default be made in the Condition here underwritten The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above Bound Richd Holland his heirs Executors or adm.rs or any or Either of them shall well and truely pay or Cause to be paid unto the afd Thomas and Eliza Latcham their heirs or assignes the full and Just sum of twenty Eight pounds three shillings and Eight pence (when they shall attain to full age) according to Law and the afd Dec.ds will &c then the above recognizance to be void &c
the trade of a Carpenter and to Read well in the bible and to writ dureing his servitude and at the Expiration of his servitude to given him a new Suit of Cloaths &c Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that the Said Peter Dickenson give Security for to Comply with the Covenants afd thereupon the Said Peter Dickenson is present here in Court in his proper person acknowledged himselfe to owe and stand Justly Indebted unto the said William Kendall Mathews in the sum |
