262 Ordered by the Court that John Gowen pay unto Andrew Collins thirty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attend.a one day as Evidence on behalfe of the said John Gowen against Thomas Predix he having made oath to the same &c
Somersett County Whereas James Wannell hath this day been brought before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the peace for the County afd on Suspition of the felonious Stealing of Sundry Europian goods belonging to James Billins Merch.tt to the Value of four pounds Curr.t money of maryland when he Kept Store at Cap.t John Riders in Dorchester County These are therefore in his Ldships name to will & Command you to receive unto your Goal the Body of the said James Wannell who was this day Brought before me for Suspition of the abovesaid felony & yt you Safely Keep him in your Custody untill he shall be from thence Discharged by due Course of Law Given under my hand & Seal this Seventh day March Anno 1726 John Jones |
