against the afd John Purnall as well thirty pounds Curr.t mony his damages afd
by him in his declaration afd above Supposed as also three hundred & Twenty
320   pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him about his Suite in that Part Expended
to the Same Thomas by the Court here of his assent adjudged and the afd deft in Mercy &c

 March the twenty first day anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and
twenty Six Came again as well William Till as the Abraham Ingram by
their attorneys and the said Abraham by his Said attorney prays that the afd
       William Till may give Security for Costs in Case nonsuite be Obtained against him in the plea
       a Certain Plea of trespass upon the Case &c (by the afd W.m Commenced against the afd Abraham) or
       that the afd W.m Should be therein Legally Cast &a   Thereupon a Certain Joseph Late of Somersett
       County Gent present here in Court undertakes for the afd W.m Till that if In Case he be Nonsuited
       in the plea afd or otherwise Legally Case that then the said Wm Till Shall pay the Condemnation
       of the Court at all Costs accrewing thereon unto the said Abra Ingram or that he the said
       Joseph Pemberton will do it for him &c

 memorand.m  the following bill was made in Novem Court Proceedings 1726 and
should have been Entered amongst that Courts Proceedings but was Omitted and
is Entered here as followeth vizt
      Somersett County fs
                                         The Jurors for the Right honrble the Lord proprietary
       of this province that Now is for the body of Somersett County upon their Oath
       do present that Anthony West and Thomas Bannister Late of Somersett County afd Planters
       the twelveth day of Janry One thousand Seven hundred and twenty three at Somersett County
       afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court with force and arm's &c fourty pounds Currt mony
       of maryland in mony Numbred being the proper mony of a Certain John Williams of Somersett
       County afd then and there being and found then and there feloniously did steal take and Carry
       away against the form of the act of assembly of this province that now in force in Such Cases
       made and provided and against the peace of the Right honrble the Lord proprietary of this province
       that now is his good Rule and Government      Dashiell Clark of Indictments

          On the Back side of the foregoeing bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed vizt
       Billa Verra      Jos MccClester foreman

          which being by the Court seen      It's thereupon Ordered by the Court here that the bill afd and
       all things thereunto Relating be transmitted to the Justices of the assize Nini prius oyer and terminer
       and Goal delivery at Dividing Creek in the County afd the first tuesday of aprill then next &a
