       And the afd Isaac Brittingham by in his Own proper person Cometh and defendeth
the force and Injury when &c and prays Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he
hath it and the same day is given to the afd Plft here also

       Att which said next Court to witt the twenty first day of march anno Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and twenty Six Came again as well the afd Joseph MccClester by his attorney afd
as the afd Isaac Brittingham in his own proper person and the said W Isaac saith nothing
in barr or avoydance of the action afd by which the same plft Remaineth agt the afd deft
thereof undefended &c                  Wherefore the afd Joseph MccClester his damages
by occasion of the Nonperformance of the promise and assumption afd against the
afd Isaac Brittingham ought to recover &c whereupon at the prayer of the afd Joseph
and by the Consent of the afd Isaac the Justices here according to act of assembly in such
Case made and provided did assess the damages of the Same Joseph by Occasion of the
non performance of the promise and assumption afd beyond his Costs and Charges
by him about his Suite in that Part Expended to twelve hundred and forty Eight pounds
of tobacco
                                              Therefore it is Considered that the afd Joseph
MccClester Recover against the afd Isaac Brittingham twelve hundred and forty
Eight pounds of tobacco his damages afd by the Justices afd in form afd Assessed
as also Two hundred and seventy three                              pounds of tobo for his Costs
273   and Charges by him about his suite in that part Expended to the same Joseph by the Court
hereof his assent adjudged and the afd Deft in Mercy &c

bound to Tho.s Fletcher
 Whereas a Certain Robert Chambers an Orphan boy was formerly bound
unto one Isaac Rappoon of the County afd the said Isaac Rappoon
       present here in Court prays that the said Robert Chambers may be taken from him and
