1726 220 Just sum of thirteen pounds seven Shillings and Eleven pence in Equal parts or portions or the value thereof according to Law and appraisment when they Shall arrive to full age to receive the Same &c then the above Recognizance to be Void other wise &c Sharpe a negro boy of Peter Dickenson Jun.r is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of Six Years this term &c
to give Security for the ballance of the same Estate according to Law &c Whereupon the afd Thomas Purnal with Isaiah Bredall his Security both of the County afd Gent Present in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to owe and stand Justly Indebted unto Elizabeth Purnall and Benj.a Purnall orphans of the afd Thomas Purnall dec.d in the full and Just Sum of One hundred and thirty five pounds Six Shillings and Six pence Curr.t money of maryland Joyntly and Severally upon their bodys goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to be made and Levied to the use of the afd Eliz.a and Benj.a Purnall his heirs or assignes if it happen the afd Thomas Purnall the Younger fail in the Condition underwritten The Condition of the above Recognizance is Such that if the above bounden Thomas Purnall the Younger his heirs Exrs or administrators Shall well and truely pay or Cause to be paid unto the abovesaid Elizabeth Purnall and Benj.a Purnall's orphans as abovesaid the full and Just Sum of Sixty Seven pounds thirteen Shillings and three pence Curr.t mony according to appraisment when they shall arrive to full age to receive the same as by the will of the dec.d and Law in Such Case provided then the above Recognizance to be void otherwise &c Joe a negro boy of William Nelson is adjudged by the Court to be of the age of thirteen Years &c
Somersett County planters all present in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto James Mumford Brasher in the full and Just Sum of sixty nine pounds three Shillings and Eight pence Currt money of Maryland Joyntly and severally upon their bodys goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements to be made and Levied for the use of the said James Mumford Brasher his heirs or assignes if it happen the afd W.m Brasher (fail) |
