Guardian she Complying with the Laws in Relation to Guardiants &c

          Whereas a Certain Elizabeth Downs a Servant being Convicted of bearing a bastard Malato
Child Conta &.c and for as much as there is due to the use of Somersett County seven years service
for such Inordinate Copulation &.c  Now hereat this day to witt the twenty first day of march
anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and twenty six the said Eliz.a Downs being returned to the Coty
Court of Somersett to be sold to the biggest order not Exceeding Seven years according to Law &c

             Whereupon the afd Elizabeth Downs is Sold to Coll Arnold Elzey for Seven Years
to Commence from the day of the date of these presents &.c         In Consideration whereof the
said Arnold Elzey is to pay to the Use of the County afd the Sum of two thousand pounds
of tobo &c


Jno Langston
          Recogn to
James Smith
    It's ordered by the Court that John Langston give security for the ballance of
a Certain James Smiths Estate according to Law &c
    Whereupon the afd John Langston with George Dashiell both present
here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and
Stand Justly Indebted unto James Smith son of James Smith dec.d ^in^ the Sum of Nine pounds Curr.t
money to be Levied upon their bodys goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally
for the use of the afd James Smith the Younger his heirs or assigns if it Shall happen that the
afd John Langston fail in the Condition underwritten
                                                                                        The Condition of the above recognizance
is such that if the abovesaid John Langston his heirs or assignes do well and truely pay or Cause
to be paid unto the abovesaid James Smith the Younger his heirs or assignes the Sum of four
pounds ten Shillings Curr.t mony there being so much due to him from his said fathers Estate
to be paid him when he shall arrive to full ^age^ according to Law and the dec.ds Will then the above
Recognizance to be void otherwise &c

James Jones Recogn to
Susannah & Mary Ralph
Ann Ralph of Somersett County widdow and admrx of Jno Ralph decd present
in Court is ordered by the Same Court to give security for the ballance of the s.d
John Ralph Estate which is as followeth vizt
                                                       Thereupon the afd Ann Ralph of Somersett County widdow Willm
Ralph and James Jones of the Same place Planters all present in Court in their proper persons
acknowledged themselves to Owe and stand Justly Indebted unto Susannah Ralph and Mary
Ralph orphans of the afd John Ralph dec.d in the Sum of Sixteen pounds four Shillings and ten
pence Curr.t money of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands and tenements to the Use of the afd
Susannah and Mary Ralph their heirs or assignes Joyntly and Seperately to be made and Levied
if it happen the afd Ann Ralph fail in the Condition underwritten

                The Condition of the above Recognizance is such that if the above bounden Ann
Ralph her heirs or assignes shall well and truely pay or Cause to be paid unto the above bound
