tree by Phillip Truitt Son of the afd George Truit Sen.r & told him it was
a Corner tree of Whites Land and further Saith not

          The Deposition of Jn.o Parker Aged               being duly Sworn
Sayeth yt he has been told that y.e afd Corner tree by the Mouth of
Deep Branch which we were then at was a Corner tree & that George
Truitt Sen.r Said that Whites Land Came over Deep Branch & further
Saith not                           We the afd Commissioners Meeting again
on the afd Land y.e 27th of Febr 1726/7 to Examine other Evidences
took the Deposition of W.m Whittington aged about 43 years which
is this yt Coll Will.m Whittington told this Depon.t yt Coll Francis Jinkins
Surveyor of y.e tract of Land Called Partners Choice told the afd Coll Wm
Whittington yt the first bounder of the s.d Land Stood in a Low pice of
Ground by the Swamp side about a quarter of a mile above Snow
hill Landing & that by the Directions of the afd Coll W.m Whittington
he y.e s.d Depone.t found a marked Corner tree being a White Oak aboute
the afd Distance from the afd Landing & that some time after Comeing
to s.d tree with the afd Coll W.m Whittington he the sd Coll Whittington
said that was the very tree he found by the afd Coll Jinkinses Directiones
and this Depon.t further Sayeth that the afd Coll Jinkins Either
Wrote to or told this Depont.s father Coll Whittington & withall sent him
the Surveys of the following Lands that the Corner tree Standing by the
Mouth of Little Bridge branch otherwise Called Deep Branch was
the first Bounder of a tract of Land Surveyed for Either Jn.o Emett Will.m
Dennsson or Abram Emmett & the afd Coll Jinkins Desired the afd
Coll Whittington to Joyn with him in taking up the afd two tracts
of Land Surveyed for y.e afd Emmetts & Dennsson Certificates for the
same Never being returned and further Saieth not
                The above Evidences Examined & their Depositions taken as

       afd Called Coxes Choyce to the Bounds   We therefore require you or
       any three or two of you at Some time & place as to you or any
       three or two of you Shall Seem Convenient you Meet on y.e afd
       Land Called Coxes Choyce (you first haveing taken your Oath
