His Lordship

Anthony West and
Thomas Bannister
 Now hereat to witt the twenty first day of march ann.o Dom One thousand seven
hundred and twenty Six Came hereinto Court the afd Anthony West and Thomas
Bannister in their proper persons and pray that their appearance may be recorded
to Save themselves and their ^security from a Certain^ Recognizance of Bail Entered into &c
    Thereupon the appearance of the afd Anthony West and Thomas Bannister were recorded
and they and their Securitys accordingly discharged &c

                      whereupon its Ordered by the Court that the afd Anthony West and Thomas
Bannister give new Recognizance in the Sum of Five hundred pounds Sterling Each with two Securitys
Each in the Sum of two hundred and fifty pounds Sterling Each for their good behaviour and appearance
before the Justices of assize Ni ci prius Oyer and terminer and Goal Delivery at Dividing Creek in the County
afd the first tuesday of Aprill then next &c

          Whereupon the afd Anthony West together with Randall West and John Harper both of somersett
County Planters his securitys present herein Court in their proper persons Acknowledged themselves to
owe unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary in manner and form following vizt   the afd Anthony West
in five hundred pounds Sterling and the afd Randall West and John Harper in two hundred and fifty
pounds sterling seperately good and Lawfull mony of England of their Severall goods and Chattells Lands
and Tenements to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied &c

             In Case the afd Anthony West shall not Personally appear before the Justices of assize ni ci prius
oyer and terminer and Goal Delivery at Dividing Creek in the County afd the first tuesday of aprill then
next and do not answer unto his said Lordship Concerning his Feloniously Stealing forty pounds Currt money
being the proper money of the afd John Williams and do not Stand and abide the Judgment of the Court
thereupon and do Depart without Leave of the Same Court and if in the mean time he be not of the good
behaviour to all his Lordships Liege people &c then the above Recognizance to be of full force and vertue
in Law &c
                                                             Likewise the afd Thomas Bannister together with Lazarus
Maddox of manokan and John Givans of Somersett County Planters his Security's present here in Court
in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to owe and unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary
in manner and form following viz.t   The afd Thomas Bannister in five hundred pounds sterling and
the afd Lazarus Maddox and John Givans in two hundred and fifty pounds Sterling Seperately good
and Lawfull money of England of their severall goods and Chattells Lands and tenements to the use of
his said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied &ca

                In Case the afd Thomas Bannister Shall not Personally appear before the Justices of
assize ni ci prius Oyer and terminer and Goal Delivery at Dividing Creek in the County afd the first
tuesday of of aprill then Next and do not answer unto his said Lordship Concerning his feloniously
Stealing forty pounds Curr.t money being the proper money of the afd John Williams and do not stand
