and for so doing this shall be your sufficient warrent and and authority hereof
fail not & when you have y.e same so done you are to Certifie y.e Same under
your hands and seals to us in our high Court of Chancery with all Convenient
speed Wittness our Trusty & welbeloved Charles Calvert Esq.r Our
Captain Generall & Lieutenant Governour in & over our s.d province
of maryland this 28.th day of Febry in y.e Twelfth year of our Dominion

          Which being Read and heard thereupon William Planner, John Jones, W.m Fasitt
John Smith W.m Stoughton John Caldwell and John MccClester Gent Pursuant to the dedimus
to them directed administred the severall Oaths appointed by act of assembly to be taken
to the government and the accustomed Oath of Justice to Samuel Hopkins and John Scott
who severally take the Same and Subscribe the Oath of abjuration and test and take
their places         Thereupon Samuel Hopkins and John Scott Gent adminstred the
Same Oaths to W.m Planner John Jones, W.m Fasitt John Smith Wm Stoughton, John Caldwell
and John MccClester who take the same and Severally Subscribe the Oath of abjuration &
Test and take their places as followeth vizt

Whereupon the Court be called and sate    Proclamation was made for the Sherr of
Somersett County to witt Francis Allen Gent to make Return of a pannell of the grant Jurors
who returns the Same as follows vizt   James Rownd, Adam Hitch, Robert Collier, Stephen
Hopkins, Abraham Cordery, Richard Jefferson, John Onorton, Nathaniel Crapper, Thomas Collins
James Mumford, Merrick Ellis, George Benston, John Magrew, Thomas Holbrook, W.m Sillivant
David Brown, Lazarus Maddox manocon, W.m Cox W.m Adams, Teage Riggin Saml roach
And thereupon Proclamation being made by the Cryer according to Common form &c
    the Jurors afd so as afsaid Impannelled being severally Called Over by their Names do appear
as above and thereupon they are sworn and Charged and Sent Out to Consider ^who^ soon after the
grand Jurors afd Return into Court and being Severally Called Over appear and present to the
same Court here the following presentm.ts vizt   Presentm.t against Rasannah Cavanough, Rebecca
Hummings, Eliz.a Mills, and Marcy Stevens, being Content that the Court Should amend form
altering no manner of Substance in them ^said Presentments^ thereupon the afd Grand Jurors were accordingly
discharged and ordered that they ^should^ be allowed for their Publick Service this Court four hundred pds
of tobo to be paid next Levy Court and against the afd Rosannah Cavanough, Rebecca Hummings
Eliza Mills, and Mary Stevens, so as afd Presented it is Ordered yt Caps Issue agt them Returnable
to Next Court &c
