him by the Oath of Severall Witnesses &c  Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here this
fifteenth day of June ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and fi twenty five that the said
James Polk be fined to his Lordship for the fact afd five hundred pounds of tobacco thereupon the
said James Polk is paid five pounds Curr.t money in the Lieu of the said five hundred pounds
of tobacco ^which was accepted of by the Court^ thereupon the Said James Polk is discharged he paying the Severall Officers their Fees
due by means of the premisses afd &c    thereupon Its ordered that the same James Polke Give recognizance
for his good behaviour & appearance at Next Court Jame Polke ^Entered into^ Recognizance in forty pds Sterr Lewis rigsby
& Richard King his securitys in twenty pounds Ster Each for James Polk's appearance & good behaviour at Next Court

Somersett fs://     Be it Remembred that this day to witt the Sixteenth day of June
Seventeen Hundred & twenty five Came before the Justices of Somersett County Court
here Levin Gale who for the Right honrble the Lord proprietary of this province
       that now is Prosecutes and for our said Lord proprietary Gives the Court to understand and be
       Inform'd that Ann Harper wife of John Harper Late of Coventry Parish Planter in the County
       afd the tenth day of aprill seventeen hundred & twenty five at the Parish afd in the County afd within
       the Jurisdiction of this Court with force and Armes in and upon a Certain Jane Mathews in the
       peace of God and Our said Lord Proprietary then and there being an assault did make and her did
       beat wound and Evilly treat so that of the said Janes Life it was despaired and Other harmes to the
       said Jane then and there did do to the Great damage of the same Jane and against the Peace &c whereof
       the said Levin for the said Lord proprietary prays advisement of the Court &c

                Whereupon the said Ann Harper in her own proper person appears and being sett to the
       Barr (Information read) pleads guilty and putts herselfe in Mercy of the Lord proprietary and
       prays that she may be admitted to make fine to the said Lord proprietary for the fact afd
      
                Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the said Ann Harper wife of the afd
       John Harper be fined to his said Lordship the Lord proprietary fifty pounds of tobacco for the
       fact afd whereupon the said Ann Harper is Ordered to give Security for the payment of
       the fine afd & the Severall Officers their fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd &c

             Thereupon the afd John Harper Husband of the afd Ann Harper present herein Court undertakes
       for the said Ann Harper to pay the fine afd and the severall Officers their Fees due by
       Occasion of the premisses afd &c

                         upon their Oath do present that Richard Tiler Late of Stepney Parish in the County afd
