204 Evidence that the stump was y.e first Bound.r of Golden Quater The same day & at y.e same place Came George Tayler an Evidence aged 42 years or thereabouts & being sworn & Examined sayth that Either Jn.o Cammell Tho.s Wallis or Tho.s McClamy one of them three shewed him y.e stump if he mistake not of a Hiccory & one of them told this deponant y.t it was a Line tree or a Corner tree he Cant remember which) of Golden Quarter which stump stood near to y.e place Described in y.e first Deposition Benj.a Burton an Evidence aged 45 years or thereabouts being Sworn & Examined sayth y.t Will.m Whittington then sworn Surveys Came with Tho.s Wallis to y.e s.d stump or near there which being about 10 or 12 years agon y.e stump was rotten there y.e s.d Whittington & Wallis begun to servey & from thence they run this Depon.t very Well remembers he Came there to Employ y.e s.d serveyer for his own Land but knows not what Bound.r y.e said stump was Will.m Fassit, James Round Somersett County fs Know all men by these presents that we Benja Houston Joseph Houston and Thomas Selby all of Somersett County in the Province afd are holden and firmly bound unto Rachell, Benjamin, Comfort and Sarah Worringtons orphans of Thomas Worrington dec.d in the full and Just Sum of Ninty three pounds ten shillings and Six pence to be paid unto the said Rachell, Benjamin, Comfort and Sarah Worringtons orphans as afd their heirs Executors adm.rs or assignes to the which payment well and truely to be made and performed we bind our selves and either of our heirs Executors and adm.rs for the whole and in the whole Joyntly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our Seals and dates this 16 day of Novem anno Dom 1726 The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above Bound Benjamin Houston, Joseph Houston and Thomas Selby or any or every of them their heirs Executors or adm.rs do well and truely pay or Cause to be paid unto the above named Rachell, Benjamin, Comfort and Sarah Worringtons their heirs Executors adm.rs or assignes the full and Just Sum of forty Six pounds fifteen shillings and three pence Curr.t money being due to them ^from^ the said Dec.d |
