standing there & do as still remain it Standing about 130 paces near South West) from
the house where Thomsd Farrall now dwelleth

          The Complainant alledging that he had Other Evidences that Could not then be
there by reason of such uses the meeting on the said Lands was refarrd to y.e 30.th day of
July 1726 where Came John Onorton an Evidence aged 49 years or thereabouts & being
sworn & Examined saith that at a dead white oake Standing at ye side of a glade near
a flourishing white oake about 350 paces near South East from y.e house where Tho.s
Farrall now Dwelleth that Rob.t Johnson sen.r offre'd the Sale of his Land to this
deponant's father Will.m Onorton & y.e said Johnson Came to y.e said tree with the
said Will.m Onorton & this deponant (this deponant then being about 12 years old) &
the said Johnson told them that the said white oake was his Bound.r & that the land
of the southermost side of the said tree was Called Jenkins' & also y.e s.d Johnson
told them their was another bound.r of his near the river but the said deponant
Knows not where it Stands

       William Freeman the same day & place Last mentioned Came as an Evidence
aged 48 years of theirabouts & being sworn & Examined saith that he very well
Remembers that about 20 years agon the said deponant & his father was alooking
of Cattle & Came to the white oake Last mentioned & then wasd a glourishing tree
marked with a Surveyers marke & this deponents father then told him that it was y.e
first bounder of Coll Jenkins Land which Land which Land lay on the Southermost side of y.e s.d
tree & the Land on the Northermost side was robert Johnson the said deponent also
saith that ^his^ father Carried the Chain from the said tree a Crost y.e neck & that y.e Land
Called Buckland was Surveyed once for this Deponents father     his                    his

       to Examine Evidences on behalfe of a Certain Jn.o Cannell of said County
       in relation to y.e Bounds of a tract of Land Called Golden Quarter Lying
       in y.e County afd  We therefore require you or any three or two of you that
       at some time & place as to you or any three or two of you Shall seem
