Obtaining such releife your humble Petition.r shall Ever pray Jn.o Hill

                   The petition afd being read and heard and all and Singular the premisses
Considered   It's thereupon Ordered by the Court that the afd John
Hill befor the future tax free as by the petition afd is praid &c

Ordered by The Court that John Lemaj of Dorchester County Gent be allowed
the Sum of two thousand five hundred pounds of tobo p year for Full satisfaction
for keeping a ferry over Nanticoke River at Vianna for Somersett County and keeping
a good Boat and finding sufficient attendance for the Sett ferrying of horse and ^man^ backward
and forward over the afd river &c

      This being an action in a plea of trespass upon the Case &.c

wherein the Sherr of Somersett County to whom the writt in the
                      Same action was directed Cometh and maketh Return thereof Endorsed in
       these words following viz.t      Cepi Corpus P Francis Allen Sherr

       Whereupon the said William West being Called appears and thereupon the said
       William West at the prayer of the plfts attorney is adjudged to give Speciall bayle
       to the action afd but for want thereof the said William West is Committed into the Custody
       of the Sherr of Somersett County there to remain &.c the said Sherr present here in
       Court took Charge of the afd William West accordingly   Afterwards in the Same Court
       Came a Certain Randell Revell of the County afd Planter in his proper person and
       undertakes for the said William West that if in Case the afd Joseph MccClester shall
       Recover Judgm.t in the plea afd against the said William West or that the said William
       West Shall be therein Convict that then he the said William West shall pay the
       Condemnation of the Court thereupon or render his body to the Custody of the sherr
       of Somersett County in Satisfaction thereof or that he the Said Randall Revell will do it
       for him   thereupon the afd William West in his own proper person appears and Imparles
       till Next Court &c
