187 then Judicially Sitting acknowledged themselves Indebted to his said Lordship the right Honrble the Lord proprietary of this Province that is to say the afd Anthony West in the sum of one hundred pounds ster and the afd Andrew Thompson & Randall West seperately in the sum of fifty pounds sterling good & Lawfull money of England of their goods & Chattells Lands & tenements seperately to be made & Levied to the use of his said Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs & Successors In Case the said Anthony West shall ^not^ make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of march then next to answer unto his said Lordship Concerning his feloniously stealing forty pounds Curr.t money being the proper money of the afd John Williams whereof the said Anthony West stands Indicted and to stand & abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereon and not to depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof otherwise to be void &.c John Williams, William West, and William Proser all of Somersett County Planters being bound by Recognizance for their appearance this Court to give Evidence on behalfe of his said Lordship against a Certain Thomas Bannister and Anthony West Concern in their feloniously stealing forty pounds Currant mony being the proper mony of him the Said John Williams &.c appeared here in Court according to the tenor of their said Recognizance and pray that their appearance may be recorded and they discharged from the Same Recognizance thereupon the appearance of the afd John Williams, William West and William Proser were recorded and they accordingly discharged Whereupon it is further Ordered by the Court that the said John Williams, William Prosser and William West, William Planner John Tilman, William Furnis ^and^ Abell Wright Jun.r al of the County afd are Ordered to give recognizance in the Sume of Eighty pounds Sterling ^Each^ for their appearance at march Court next to be held for the County afd at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of the Same month (and that the afd William West give security for his appearance) to give Evidence against the afd Thomas Bannister and Anthony West as afd &a Whereupon the afd John Williams, William Prosser, William Planner John Tilman and William Furnis and Abell Wright Jun.r all present in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves to Owe and be Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary severally in Eighty pounds sterling good and Lawfull money of England of their goods and chattells Lands and tenements Severally to be made and Levied to the Use of his Said Lordship In Case they do not make their personall appearance before the Justices of his Said Lordships County Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of march then next to give Evidence as they Shall Know against the afd Thomas Bannister and Anthony West of and Concerning their feloniously Stealing of forty pounds Curr.t being the proper mony of the said John Williams and not to depart thence without the Leave of that Court otherwise to be void &c Likewise the said William West with Randall West his Security both present ^in^ Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and be Indebted unto his Said Lordship the Lord proprietary severally in Eighty pounds Sterling good and Lawfull mony of m England of their goods and Chattels Lands & tenements Severally to be Levied and made for the Use of his said Lordship the Lord proprietary his |
