Thomas Hearn ^of Somrsett County Gent^ be Commissioners to Execute the said Commission according to act of assembly
in Such Case made and provided &.c

         Petition
     To the Court of Somrsett County now sitting the Petition of
Thomas Humphrys prays your Worships that you please to order
the Clarke to Issue out a Commission for appointing Commissioners for ascertaing the
meets & bounds of Land to ascertain the metes & bounds of the following two tracts viz.t  Kains
Lott three hundred Acres & Green hill fifty & your petitioner shall ever &.c

             The Petition afd being re^a^d & heard & the premisses it is Considered it is therefore
ord'red by the Court that a Commission Issue to the afd Thomas Humphrys as by the petition
afd is praid & that   Joseph Venables, John Caldwell, Adam Hitch, Joseph Pemberton
of Somersett County Gent be Commissioners to Execute the said Commission according to
act of assembly in such Case made & provided &.c

and Others Pet.n
     To the worshipfull the Justices of Somersett County now Sitting
the humble Petition of John Dennis William Selby Saml Brittingham
       Parker Selby William Hopkins and Robert Nearn      whereas your petitioners stand
       Possessed of a tract of Land Called Partners Choyce Lying in the Indian Town on
       the north side of Pocomoke River the bounds whereof are like to become precarious
       and uncertaine your petitioners prayeth that your worships would be pleased
       to provide and appoint Commissioners pursuant to an act of assembly lately made
       to take the probat of Such Evidences as Shall be to them produced in order to preserve
       the Bounds of the Land afd in perpetuall Memory and your petioners afd in
       duty Bound shall Ever pray         W.m Hopkins, W.m Selby, Parker Selby, Robt Nearn

                            The petion afd being read and heard and the premisses Considered its
       therefore ordered by the Court that a Commission Issue to the afd Persons as by their
       pet.n afd is praid   and that John Scott, Francis Allen, John Donelson and Thomas
       Peal all of Somersett County Gent are appointed Commissioners to Execute the Same
       Commission according to act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided &c
