To the worshipfull Justices of Somersett County Court now sitting the
humble Petition of William Colebourne and Solomon Colebourne humbly
          Sheweth   that whereas a Certain Road from annamessex Chapple to the bottom of Little
Annamessex goeth thorow some of the ground of the said William and Solomon Coulbourne
where they design to Clear and tend to their great prejudice and determent your petitioners
therefore humbly prays that your worships will grant such Order as in your wisdome you
shall think fitt that the said Road may be from Michael Holland Jun.r his Corne feild fence
to the head of Jone's Creek which is Considerably nearer than the road as it now stands
is to the Inhabitants and your Petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray &c

                The petition afd being Read and heard and the premisses Considered
Its thereupon Ordered by the Court that the said William and Co Solomon Coulbourne
have Liberty to turn the Road from the head of Colbourns Creek to the head of Jone's
Creek so far that they make the Same New road as near passable and good as the Old road
and when the Same new road be so Cleared and made by the afd W.m and Solomon Coulbourne
&.c  It's further Ordered that a Certain Thomas Williams and Thomas Dixon both of Somersett
County Gent View the Same New road and se if it be as near, passable, and good as
the Old Road and to make their Report to Next Court &c

    To the worshipfull Justices of Somersett County now in Court Sitting the
humble petition of John Davis humbly Sheweth that Whereas a Certain road
Runeth through a plantation of your petitioner to his great hurt and determent your petitioner
prays your worships will grant such order as in your wisdome you Shall think fitt
that the Said road may be returned from the head of One Creek to the head of Roaches Creek w.ch
is Considerably nearer, and will Clear the said Road on my Own Charge and your petitioner
as in duty bound shall Ever pray                                                         John Davis

                      The petition aforesaid being read and heard and the premisses Considered
Its thereupon thereupon ordered by the Court that the said John Davis turn the road from
the head of Johnsons Creek to the head of Stephen Horseys Creek so far that he make the
same New road as near, passable and good as the old road, and when the same New road be
so Cleared and made by the afd John Davis &.c   It's further ordered that a Certain Thomas
Dixon and Thomas Williams both of Somersett County Gent view the same New road and so
if it be made as near, passable, and good, as the Old road and to make their Report
to Next Court &c
