Price Collins of Somersett County is by the Court appointed Constable for the Ensueing
Year in Stead of Abraham Smith in Boquetenorton hundred &c                     took the oaths
to the government and subscribed the oath of abjuration and test

Stephen Tulley of Somersett County appointed Constable by the Court for the ensuing
year in Stead of James Weatherly in Nanticoke hundred &c

       Parker Selby of Somersett County is by the Court appointed Constable of Mattapony
hundred in Stead of Samuel Hopkins Jun.r for the Ensuing Year

       Tom a negro boy of Joseph Houston's is adjudged by the Court to be eight years of
age this term &.c

              Jenney a negro Girl belonging to Robert Mitchell is adjudged by the Court to be
ten years of age this term &c

Betty a negro Girle of Joshua Atkinson is adjudged ^by the Court^ to be of the age of ten years
this term &c


Pegg a negro
Tax free
   To the Worshipfull Justices of Somersett County now in Court Sitting the
the Petition of Pegg a negro humbly Sheweth
                Whereas your Petitioner has been very sick and is very week and Poor and
Antient who was the Negro of Coll Brown who is now so Sold and feble that I am not
able to gett my Living without paying taxes for which Reason I humbly pray your
worships to sett me tax free which will be some Ease and your Petitioner as in duty bound
shall pray                        Peg negro Living on the Land of Capt John King

       This petition afd being read and heard and the premisses Considered It's thereupon
Ordered by the Court that the afd Negro Pegg be for the future tax free &c

Ordered by the Court that William Denston, Thomas Pool and Joseph Tanner all
of Somersett County being Antient and Infirm and not able to Labour be Discharged
for the future from paying of taxes &c

Ordered by the Court that John Holland be presmaster for Somersett County on
the sea board side for the Ensueing Year in the Stead of John Purnall Synapuckson

George Bozman of Somersett County is appointed by the Court presmaster in the
said County for the Bay side for the Ensueing Year in stead of John Waller

Judith a negro girle Belonging to W.m Handy is adjudged by the Court to be of the
age of Eleven Years this term &c
