Subscriber Lyeth something Precarious   this is humbly to desire your worships to appoint
Commissioners to Examine Evidences Concerning the Same as your Petitioner in duty bound doth pray

                the Petition afd being read and heard      Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here that
Capt John Smith, John Miller, John Holland & John Aydelett of Somersett County Gent are appointed
Commissioners to Examine Evidences to perpetuate the bounds of ^the^ Land afd and that a Commission
Issue to them as the Law directs &c

To the worshipfull Justices of Somersett County now in Court Sitting    the humble Petition
of John Scott humbly sheweth that your petitioner hath a negro man Called Simon very
             Old and Scarcely able to work and sickly with all so that his Labour will not find him with Necessary
    food and rayment and your petitioner prays your worships that he may be tax free and your
    Petitioner as in duty Bounds shall Every Pray                                          John Scott

                The petition afd being read and heard and the premisses Considered   Its therefore Ordered
    by the Court that the said John Scott be discharged for the future from paying of taxes for the said
    Negro Simon as by the petition afd is praid &c


Robert Harris fined
& recognizance for good
behaviour
Upon the Complaint of a Certain John Scarbrough of Somersett County Gent and
foreman of the grant Inquest for this ^June^ Court ^holden for the County afd^ against a Certain Robert Harris
of the same County Planter that he the said Robert Harris did violently force himselfe
       into the Grand Jury room amongst the Grand Jurors and would not depart altho' the said
       Robert often requested by the afd John Scarbrough and the rest of his Brethren Jurymen of the
       Grand Inquest afd                                 Whereupon Its Ordered by the Court that the Sherr of
       Somersett County goe Immediately and bring the said Robert Harris into Court to answer &c and
       afterwards in the said Court Comes the said Robert Harris in Custody of the Sherr and thereupon
       the said Robert Harris being demanded why he Intruded upon the Grand Jury and forced himselfe
       amongst the same Jurors and would not depart altho' often desired      the said Robert Harris was
       had nothing to offer in his own defence that was Materiall &c

                                  Wherefore it is Considered by the Court ^that the said Robert Harris^ be fined for the fact afd to his Lordship the
       the Lord proprietary the sum of two hundred pounds of tobacco      and Likewise that he give security
       for his Good behaviour and appearance at next Court &c          thereupon the said Robert Harris acknowledged
       himselfe to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary
       in the sum of twenty pounds Sterr to be Levied on his body goods or Chattells Lands or tenements
       for the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors             In Case he doth not make his personall
