A Copy of the foregoeing declaration and acco.t was made and Sent to be Served on the defend.t
with the writt in the plea afd

                Att which Said third tuesday of August to witt the Sixteenth day of the Same month
Ann.o Dom One thousand Seven hundred and twenty Six being the day of the return of the
writt afd Cometh the Said Thomas Dashiell by his attorney afd and the Sherr of Somersett County
to whom the writt in the Same action was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh return thereof
Endorsed in these words vizt   Cepi Corpus decl.n delivered in time P Francis Allen Sherr

          Whereupon the said William Robinson in his Own proper person appears and thereupon
the Said William Robinson at the prayer of the plfts attorney afd is adjudged to give Special
bail to the action afd   Thereupon a Certain John Dennis Sen.r present here in Court undertakes
for the Said William Robinson that if in Case the said Thomas Dashiell Shall recover
Judgm.t in the Plea afd against the afd William Robinson or that the said William Robinson
Shall be therein Convict that then he the Said William Robinson shall pay the Condemnation
of the Court thereupon or render his Body to the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County in Satisfaction
thereof or that he the Said John Dennis will do it for him &c

          Whereupon the afd William Robinson in his proper person Cometh and defendeth the
force and Injury when &c and Says that he Cannot gainsay the action afd nor Can he Say but that
he did upon himselfe assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the afd Thomas against
him hath declared nor Can he Say but that the Said Thomas Ought to recover his damages by occasion
of the premises afd to the Sum of seven hundred and fifty seven pounds of tobo and Costs
of Suite against him which the Said plft doth not gainsay &c             Therefore it is Considered
