And Whereupon y.e s.d John p.r Geo Dashiell his attorney Complains that the same John athen at Coventry parish
within the Jur of this Court was Indebted unto him in the Sum of two hundred & thirty two pounds of tob.o
as p.r acc.t hereto anext may appear & being so thereof Indebted on y.e Eighteenth day of March one thousand seven
hundred & Nineteen twenty at the parish and Cort afd did upon himselfe assume & promise that the afd
sum of two hundred & thirty two pounds of tob.o he would well & truly Content & pay when he Should be thereto
required Never the Less the said John athen his promis & assumption afd in form afd made Little regarding
altho often thereto requested to y.e s.d John he hath not paid but the same to pay hath denies & Still doth denie to
the Damage of the said John of four hundred sixty four pounds of tobacco and of he brings Suite &c

             A Copy of the Cause of Action was made and Sent to be Left at the Last place of abode of the deft
afd
                   Att which said third tuesday of March to witt the fifteenth day of the Same month being the
day of the Return of the Said Writt Cometh afd John Dennis by his attorney afd and the Sherr of Somrsett
County to whom the foregoeing writt was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh return thereof to the Court
here Endorsed in these words following viz.t Non Est Inventus short note Left at the Last Place
of abode of the deft p Francis Allen Sherr

                   Whereupon the said John Dennis by his attorney afd prayed that for as much as he has
Complyed with the Law as alledge in order to an attachm.t he may have Judgm.t against the afd
Jonathan Woodbury for his damages afd by way of attachm.t according to act of assembly &c  Whereupon
for that it seem's to the Court here that the said John Dennis hath Complyed with the Laws
as alledged         Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the fifteenth day of march
ann.o Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty five afd that the afd Jno Dennis Recover
against the afd Jon.a Woodbury as well the Sum of two hundred and thirty two pounds of tob
206   his damages by Occasion of the premises afd as all Costs and Charges by the said Plft Laid
Out and Expended about his Suite by way of attachmt against the goods Chattells and Creditts of
ye said Jona Woodbury according to act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided &.c

Next at Dividing Creek to answer unto Alexander Hall of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c and that thereof
