(10) and Ninty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance fourteen days as Evidence on behalfe of the said John Olandman he having made Oath to the Same &c Ordered by the Court that John Donelson pay unto Richard Tiler the Sum of One hundred & thirty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance Eleven days as Evidence on behalfe of the Said John Donelson against Roger Nicholson Jun.r He having made oath to the same &c Ordered by the Court that Nathaniel Horsey pay unto Nicholas Fountain the sum of two hundred & ten pounds of tob.o being due unto him as an Evidence on acco.t of his attending seven days on behalfe of the said Nathaniel Horsey against Amos Garrott he having made oath to the same &c
and County afd an assault he did make and him the Said George then and there he did beat wound and Evil Entreat by reason whereof the said William the service of the said Negro Slave by a Longtime he did Loose and other harms to the said George his Negro Slave then & there did to the great damage of the Said William and against the peace of the Right honrble the Lord Proprietary that now is his Good Rule & Government &c And whereupon the Said William by Francis Allen his attorney Complaines that the Said John the Sixth day of march anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three at allhollows parish afd in Somersett County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court with force & armes &c viz.t with fists and feet in and upon the afd George a negro Slave of him the said William an assault he did make and him the Said George then and there he did Beat wound and Evill Entreat so that of his Life it was Greatly despaired by Reason whereof the Said William the Service of his Negroe Slave afd by along time to witt from the afd Sixth day of march in the Year afd untill the first day of June then next Ensuing did Loose and Other harms to the Said Negro George then and there did against the Peace of the Right honrble the Lord proprietary that Now is his good rule and Governm.t whereupon the said William saith he is worse and hath damage to the value of twenty pounds Curr.t money of this Government and thereupon he brings suite &c F Allen P Qurte Pleges deft Jno Doe R Roe And the said John Olandman by George Dashiell his attorney Cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &c and prayeth Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the next Court and he hath it and the same day is Given to the afd William Whittington also Att which said next Court to witt the Eighteenth day of August ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred & twenty four Came againe as well the afd William Whittington as the afd John Olandman by their attorneys afd and thereupon the said John Olandman by his Said attorney prayed further Leave to Imparle hereunto untill the Next Court ^and he hath it^ and the same day is Given to the afd Will.m Whittington also Att which said next Court to witt the Seventeenth day of November (Anno) |
