    the Petition afd being read and heard and the Premisses by the Court Considered  Its Ordered by the Court that
the said John Records be over seer to Clear a road from Hutchins ferry to tusakey Branch at Broad Creek as by
the Petition afd is Praid and that the severall persons that subscribed to the petition afd assist the Said John
Records to Clear the said Road &c

    To the Worshipfull Justices of Sommersett County Now in Court sitting the Humble Petition of John
Scott Humbly sheweth that your Petitioner has an Old Negro Woman that is Crazy and Unfirm and
past her Labour and your Petitioner prays Your Worships to sett her tax free and your Petitioner as
    in Duty Bound shall Ever pray John Scott                  the Petition afd being read and heard and the Premisses duely
    Considered it is Ordered by the Court here that the afd Negro Woman of the said John Scott befor the future tax
    free as by the Petition afd is praid &c

    To the Worshipfull Court of Justices in Somersett County Now in Court Sitting Humbly sheweth
that whereas your Petitioner is desireous to keep a publick house (at the Court house) humbly
          Prays your Worships to grant me the Liberty to build me a small house near the same Court house on
          the Publick Land in Order to dispose of Liquors and Other Necessarys for travellers and other persons &c
          and in duty Bound your Petitioner shall Ever pray                              Isabell Obryan

                the Petition afd being read and heard and all and singular the Premisses ^by the Justices^ Considered the afd Petition is
          Granted as praid so that the said Isabell Obryan have Liberty to Build a Small house on the Publick
          Land at the Court house she not to build the same so near to the Court house that it be an Oppression &c

Att a Court of the right honourable Charles absolute Lord and Proprietarie of the Provinces of
maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c held for Dorchester County at the town of
          Cambridge the second ^tuesday^ of march being the twelfth day of the same month ann Dom One thousand seven hundred
       and twenty two before his Lordships Justices of the Peace and Other Officers duely Authorized and Commissioned to
       hold the same of whom were present      Coll.o Jacob Loockerman, Majr Henry Ennalls, Capt John Rider, Mr
       John Robson, M.r Thomas Taylor, Mr Charles Nutter, M.r Peter Taylor, Capt John Keene, John Orrell Sher
       Goovr Loockerman Clk      Thomas Howell ag.t William Kenney      Command was given to the sherr of Dorchester
       County that he should take William Kenney ^late^ of Dorchester County wheelwright if he should be found in his Bailiwick
       and him Safe Keep so that he might have his Body Before the Justices of his Said Lordships County Court of Dorchester
