82 his said Lordship the Lord proprietarie his heirs and successors Concerning all such matters and things as shall be then and there Objected against her or his Said Lordships Behalfe and to stand and abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon and not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof and in the mean time to be of good behaviour and abearance to all his Lordships Leige People and more Especially to the said Merrick Ellis then the recognizance afd to be void otherwise &c
Lord Proprietaries Justices the peace in the County afd to Keep assigned and acknowledged themselves severally to be Indebted to the said Lord Proprietarie fifty pounds of good and Lawfull money of Great Brittain of their successors if default be made in the Condition Below Written The Condition of this recognizance is such that if mary Walker of the County afd shall personally appear at the next Court of the County afd to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of this Instant august and do then and there answer all such Matters and things which shall be Objected against her being suspected of stealling divers goods feloniously from Merrick Ellis and do not depart without the Leave of the Court that then this recognizance to be void Charles Ballard, Will.m Stoughton Now here at this day to witt the twentieth day of August ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three appears here in Court the said Mary Walker in her Own proper person and prays that her appearance may be recorded to save her securitys from the Recognizance of Bail afd thereupon the said Mary Walkers appearance is recorded and her securitys accordingly discharged from the same recognizance &c Whereupon the said Mary Walker is Ordered to give New recognizance for her good Behaviour and appearance at next to be held for the County afd thereupon Thomas Walker and Lazarus Mattux of Poakamoak in the County afd Gent Present here in Court undertakes for the said Mary Walker and acknowledged themselves to Owe and stand Justly Indebted unto his said Lordship the right honourable the Lord proprietarie his heirs and successors in the sume of Fifty pounds Curr.t money Each to be Leavi'd of their Bodys goods & Chattles Lands or tenements Joyntly and Severally for the use of his said Lordship in Case the Said Mary Walker doe not make her personall appearance before the Justices of Our County Court to be held at Dividing Creek in Sommersett County afd the third tuesday of November Next to answer unto his Lordship Concerning all such matters and things as shall be then and there Objected against her on his said Lordships Behalfe and to stand and abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon and not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof and in the Mean time to be of good Behaviour and abearance to his Lordships Leige People and More Especially to the afd Merrick Ellis then the above recognizance to be void &c
