of Maryland his heirs and successors in the sum of fifty pounds Curr.t money Each to be Leavied on their bodys
Goods or Chattles Lands or tenements Joyntly and Severally for the Use of the Said Lord proprietarie In Case
the said Sarah Walker Jun does not make her personall appearance before the Justices of Our County
Court to be held at Dividing in Sommersett County afd the third tuesday of November Next to answer unto his
Said Lordship Concerning all such matters and things as shall be then and there Objected against her
on his said Lordships Behalfe and to stand and abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon and not
to depart the Same Court without Lycence thereof and in the mean time to be of good Beheaviour &
abearance to all his Lordships Leige people and more Especially to the afd Merrick Ellis then the above
Recognizance to be void otherwise &c

Recognizance
 Sommersett County fs.t    Memorandum that the thirteenth day of august one thousand seven
hundred and twenty three Benjamin Cottman of the County afd Carpenter and Neil Macclester
                      of the same County planter Came Before us Charles Ballard and William Stoughton Gent two of his Lordships
          the Lord proprietary's Justice of the Peace in the County afd to Keep assigned and acknowledged themselves
          severally to be Indebted to the said Lord Proprietarie fifty pounds good and Lawfull money
          of great Brittain of their goods and Chattles Lands and tenements severally to be levied for the use of the
          said Lord Proprietary his heirs and successors if default be made in the Condition below Written

                         The Condition of this recognizance is such that if Susannah Walker of the County afd shall
          personally appear at the Next Court of the County afd to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of this
          Instant august and do then and there answer all such Matters and things which shall be objected against
          her being suspected of stealling divers goods felloniously from Merrick Ellis and John Banister and
          do not depart without Leave of the Court that then this recognizance to be void Char: Ballard:  W.m Stoughton
          Now here at this day to witt the twentieth day of august ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty
          three appears here in Court the said Susannah Walker in her Own proper persona nd prays that
          her security appearance may be recorded to save her securitys from the above recognizance of
          Bail thereupon the said Susannah Walkers appearance is recorded and her securitys discharged &c

                   Whereupon the said Susannah Walker is Ordered by the Court to give New recognizance
          for her good beheaviour and appearance at next Court to be held for the County afd

                         Thereupon Thomas Walker and Lazarus Mattux of Poakamoak in Sumersett County Gent
          in their proper persons present here in Court undertakes for the said Susannah Walker and acknowledged
          themselves to owe and stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the right honourable the Lord Proprietarie
          his heirs and successors in the sum of fifty pounds Curr.t money Each to be Leavied on their bodys goods or
          Chattles Lands or tenements ^Joyntly and Severally^ for the use of his said the Lord Proprietary  In Case the said Sarah
          Susannah Walker do not make her personall appearance before the Justices of Our County Court to be
          held at dividing Creek in Sommersett County afd the third tuesday of November Next to answer unto
