Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said Bridgett Lowder be had to the Publick
whiping Post and there be whipt on the bare Back with ten Lashes well Laid on untill the Blood appear
and thereupon as to the Corporall Punishm.t afd Command is given to the Sherr of Somrsett
County that he do thereof Immediate Execution according to the Judgm.t afd rendered by whiping
the afd Bridgett Lowder at the Publick whiping Post with ten Lashes on her bear back well laid on untill the
blood appear  Afterwards in the Same Court the Sherr returns that he has done the Execution of the Judgm.t
afd as to the Corporal Punishm.t afd he was Commanded      And whereas the Said Bridgett Lowder being a Servant
To M.r Thomas Dashiell  It is Ordered and adjudged by the Justices that the said Bridgett Lowder return home to
her said Masters Service and when her now service ended the said Bridgett Lowder to serve her said Master
three full months for satisfaction for Loss of time and trouble her said Master was at at the time of her being
delivered of her Bastard Child afd      Whereupon it is further Ordered by the Court that the said Bridgett Lowder
give security for paym.t of fees thereupon Thomas Dashiell her master present here in Court undertakes for
to deliver the said Bridgett Lowder up to the County Court or the Sherr of Said County in Order to reemburst the Coty
the several officers then due by action of the Premisses paid for her according to Law &c

Wee of the grand Jury for the Body of Sommersett County do present Thomas Langford Planter

Stepney Parish for Begetting a bastard Child on the Body of Sarah Jeferson Spinster who was
                delivered of the same the first day of December 1721 W.m More Informer   Rownd foreman
                         Thereupon Command was given to the Sherr of Sommersett County that he should take the said Thomas
Langford Planter of Stepney Parish if he should be found in his Baliwick and him should Safe Keep so that he
might have his body before the Justices of  our his Lordships County Court of Sommersett to be held at Dividing Creek
in the third tuesday of June then next to Answer unto his said Lordship Concerning a Certain present against him
found &c and that thereof he should not fail &c       Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the Eighteenth
day of the same month Ann.o Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three Being the day of the return of
the said Writt Comes the Sherr of Sommersett County and makes return thereof Endorst viz.t Cepi answers Jo: McChester Clk
                Whereupon the said Thomas Langford in his Own Proper Person appears and Being sett to the Barr is
thereupon Instantly demanded how he would acquitt hiumselfe of the Premisses afd above Imposed upon him says
that of the Premisses afd above Imposed upon him he is guilty thereof and submitts to the mercy of the Court
and is willing to Pay his fine for the fact afd   Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said
Thomas Langford be fined to his Lordship the Lord Proprietarie of this Province the sum of six hundred pounds
of tob.o for the fact afd thereupon the said Thomas Langford is discharged he giveing security for Paym.t of the
fine afd and the several Officers their fees due by action of the Premisses afd Thereupon a Certain William Collins
of Manokin in Sommersett County afd Present herein Court undertakes for to pay the fine afd and all the Officers
Fees that accrued by action of the Premisses afd in Case the said Thomas Langford doth not pay the same &c

Bearing a Bastard Child Lazarus Maddux Informer Some time in may Last Mer: Ellis foreman
                                  Thereupon Command is given to the Sherr of Sommersett County that he should take the said Mary
            Osten of Manokin Parish if she should be found in his Baliwick and her should Safe Keep so that he might
