foreman Thereupon Command was given to the sherr of Sommersett County that he should take ^Cause^ the said William Pullett to Come Before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Sommersett to be held at dividing Creek in Sommersett County afd the third tuesday of June then next to answer unto his Lordship Concerning a Certain Presentm.t against him found &.c and that thereof he should not fail &.c Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the Eighteenth day of the same month Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three being the day of the return of the said Writt Comes the sherr of Sommersett County and makes return thereof to ye Court here Endorst viz.t Whereupon the said William Pullett appears and being sett to the Barr and the presentm.t afd to him Being read submitts thereto with a protestation of his Innocency Becaus he would not plead with the right honourable the Lord Proprietarie and thereof putts himselfe upon the favour of the Court &.c Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said William Pullett be fined to his Lordship the Lord Proprietarie of this Province the sum of fifty pounds of tobacco for the fact afd thereupon the said William Pullett is discharged from the Presentm.t afd he paying the fine afd and the severall officers fees that accrued by action of the Premisses afd &.c
Instant James Round Foreman Thereupon Command was given to the Sherr of Sommersett County that he should Cause the said Edward Roberts if he should be found in his Baliwick and him stand to Come Before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Sommersett ^to be held at dividing Creek^ the third tuesday of June then next to answer unto his Lordship Concerning a Certain Presentm.t against him found and that thereof the should not fail &.c Att which said third tuesday of June next to witt the Eighteenth day of the same month Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three Being the day of the return of the said Writt Comes the sherr of Sommersett County and makes return thereof Endorst vizt Whereupon the said Edward Roberts in his own Proper person appears and Being sett to the Bar is thereupon demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the Provinces abovesaid says that he is guilty thereof and submitts to the mercy of the Court Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said Edward Robert be fined to his Lordship the sum of One hundred pounds of tobacco for the fact afd thereupon the said Edward Roberts is discharged he paying the fine afd and the severall officers their fees due by action of the Premisses afd &.c
