Aprill Court                  1723                       36
       the thirtieth day of the same month Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty two on which
       day and year Last mentioned Comes again as well the said Plft as the said deft by their attorneys afd
       and the said deft by his said attorney as Before defends the force and Injury when &.c and saith
       that he of the Premisses above upon him Imposed is not guilty in manner and form as the said Abraham
       above against him hath Complained and of his he Putts himself upon the Country   Allen P Deft

                                     And the Plft in LIke manner   Dashiell P Plft

       Thereupon Command is given to the sherr of Sommersett County that Immediatly he Cause to Come here
       here twelve &.c by whome &.c who neither &.c to recognize &.c because as well &.c of which said Preceipt
       the said sherr to witt Joseph MccChester Gent Now here at this day to witt the same day and year Last
       mentioned makes return that he has here ready twelve &.c as by his said Preceipt he was Commanded
       and now hereafterwards to witt the same day and year Comes as well the said Plft as the said deft
       by their attorneys afd and the Jurors of that Jury Impannelled being Called Likewise Came to witt
       William Law John Dennis Sen John Pope Henry Scofeild Moses Fenton William Mills Dan.ll
       Cowdery, Neal MccChester Robert Hill Charles Townsend James Hall James West who being duely
       Elected tryed and sworn upon their Oath day do say that the said Thomas Drummond is guilty of the
       Premisses above upon him Imposed in manner and form as the said Abraham against him hath Complained
       and do assess the damages of the said Abraham by Occation of the Premisses ^afd^ to three pounds Currt
       mony and One pound of tob.o Cost besides his Costs and Charges by him about his Suite in this Behalfe
       Laid Out and Expended
                                                                                        Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here
       the thirtieth day of aprill Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty three afd that the
       said Abraham Mason Recover against the said Thomas Drummond as well the sum of three pounds
       Curr.t mony his damages by Occasion of the Premisses afd in form afd assesed as also the Sum of
Cost (2207)   Two thousand two hundred & seven      Pounds of tobacco by the Court here adjudged unto him for his
       Costs and Charges by him about his Suite in this Part Laid Out and Expended and ye Deft in mercy &.c

Somrsett County ss:  William Shurman of Stepney Parish in the COunty of Sommersett
Planter was attached to answer unto James Feillett doctor of a plea of trespass upon
the Case    &.c         And whereupon the said James by Francis Allen his attorney Complains
                that Whereas a Certaine                        the wife of the said William on the twelfth day of March Ann
                Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty One at the Parish and County afd within the Jurisdiction of this
                Court with Sundry Large and malignant ulcers on her Neck and right shoulder did Lanquish and
                Labour the said William the day and year afd at the Place afd within the Jurisdiction afd in Consideration
                that the said James at ye speciall Instance and request of him the said William would Cure her the said
                               of the ulcers afd upon himselfe did assume and unto the said James then and there did faithfully
