270 Creek the third tuesday of June Next and answer unto his Lordship Concerning all Such Matters and things as should be objected against him on his Lordships behalfe and to stand and abide ye Judgm.t of the Court thereupon and in the Meantime to be of the good behaviour to all his Lordships Leige people & Especially to the afd William Planner Likewise John Donelson & Denis Folie both of Somersett County present here in Court undertakes for the said Patrick Burn as his securitys and acknowledged themselves to Owe and stand Justly Indebted unto the said Lord proprietary in the sum of five pounds sterlling Each Joyntly and Severally to be Levied on the ^their^ goods and Chattels Lands and tenements for the Use of the said Lord proprietary. In Case the said Patrick Burn doe not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his said Lordships County Court of Somersett to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of June Next to answer unto his said Lordship Concerning all Such Matters and things as shall be then & there Objected against him on his said Lordships Behalfe and to Stand & abide the Judgmt of the Court thereupon & Not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof and in the Mean time to be of the good behaviour to all his said Lordships Leige people and Especially to the af WIlliam Planner &c William Lane of Somersett County Gentleman Produceth a Commission as Surveyor of Somersett County afd is approved of he takeing the Severall Oaths appointed by Law &c thereupon the Said William Lane took the Oath appointed and Subscribed the Oath of abjuration and test &c
at dividing Creek the third tuesday of march then next to answer unto Alexander Hall of the County and province afd Late Cler of a plea of trespass upon the Case &c and that thereof he Should not fail &c And whereupon the said Alexander Hall in his Own proper person Complains that whereas the said William Francis the twenty first day of September Ann Dom one thousand seven hundred and twenty four at the Parish and County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court was Indebted unto the said Alexd Hall in the Just and Full Sum of Eight^een^ Hundred and Eleven Pounds of Tobacco as by a Certain Account Hereunto Annexed may Appear and Being so thereof Indebted the said William Afterwards (to) |
