County that he doe thereof Immediate Execution by Whiping the afd Ann Bullingall at the
Publick whiping post with fifteen Lashes on the Bare back well Laid on untill the blood
appear and afterwards in the same Court the Said Sherr Returns that he has done the
Execution of the Judgm.t afd as to the Corporall Punishm.t afd he was Commanded
Whereupon its Ordered by the Court that ^the^ said Ann Bullingall give security for the paymt of the
severall Officers their fees due by occasion of the premisses afd but for want thereof the said
Ann Billingall is Committed into the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County there to remain &c
the said Sherr being present took Charge of the Said Ann Bullingall accordingly

       And afterwards the said Ann Bullingall being discharged from Out of Custody of the Said
Sherr Comes into Court and voluntaryly and freely of her own accord binds herselfe a Servant unto
a Certain John Tilman of Said County of Somersett Planter to serve him the said John Tilman his heirs
and assignes in all such Imployments or Lawfull service as the Said John Tilman his heirs or
assignes should Imploy her in and about the full term of time of seven years to Commence from
the date of these presents   In Consideration of which said service by the said Ann Bullingall
the said John Tilman undertakes to pay for her unto Joseph MccClester high Sherr of the
County afd the sum of twenty five pounds Curr.t money or the value thereof being in full for
the said Ann Bullingalls Imprisonment fees over the pay and Likewise for fees due by
Reason of her being Convict of having a bastard Child in said County of Somersett &c

We of the grand Jury do present Fran: Pointer of all hollows Parish Spinster
for bareing a bastard Child on or about January Last    W.m Lane Foreman
                Therefore Command is given to the sher of Somersett County that he Should take the
Said Fran: Pointer if &c to answer &c afterwards in the same Court Comes the Said Fran: Pointer
in Custody of the said ^Sherr^ into ^whose^ Custody ^before that time^ was Committed for the Cause afd and the said Fran: Pointer
being by the Sherr sett to the Barr is thereupon Instantly demanded how she would acquitt herselfe
of the premisses afd says that of the premisses she afd was she is guilty thereof and Makes Oath
that a Certain William Huttson is the begetter of the Child she stands presented for and is
willing to make fine to the Lord proprietary for the fact afd      Wherefore it is Considered
by the Court that the said Fran: Pointer be fined to his Lordship the sum of six hundred pounds
of tob.o for the fact afd to be appropriated toward the defraying of the County Charge &c
Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that the said Francis Pointer give security for payment of ye
fine afd & all the officers fees due by occasion of the premisses afd &c
         thereupon a Certain Thomas Pointer son of W.m Pointer present in Court undertakes for ye said
Fran: Pointer to pay the fine afd and all the officers their fees by occasion of the premisses &c
