    for this Present or to such of them as shall require the same shall Passe and render by the tenth
    Day of May next Ensueing the Date hereof and in all other Things as sheriff of the County
    of Somersett shall be have himself well and Honestly to all Persons according to the Best
    of his Power Skill and Knowled Then this Obligation to be void and of No Effect Or Else

 Somersett fs the Jurors for the Right Honrble the Lord Proprietarie
of this Province that now is for the Body of Somersett County upon their
Oath do Psent that Roger Nicholson Late of Stepney Parish in the
County afd Planter the tenth day of October seventeen hundred &
Twenty four with force and armes &c at ye Parish afd in the County afd within the
Jur of this Court in and upon a Certain Margarett Nicholson in the Peace of God & our
said Lord Proprietarie then and there Being an assa^u^lt made and her did Beat wound
and Evilly Treat so that of her Life it was Dispared and other Harms to her the said Margarett
then and there did doe to the Great Damage of the same Margarett and agt the Peace
of our said Lord Proprietary his good rule and Dignity &c

On the Back of the foregoing Bill it was thus Endorst Vizt Ignoramus John Scott foreman

November seventeen Hundred Hundred and Twenty four at the Parish afd in the County afd within the
Jur of this Court with force and armes one Barrow hogg of the Price of Twelve shillings Curr
Mony of Maryland of the goods and Chattles of a Certain David Price then and there with Being
found then and there with a Certain Peice of wood Did strick Beat ^and^ would so Much that then and
there by reason thereof it Instantly Dced to the Great Damage of the same David and agt thereupon
the Peace of our said Lord Proprietarie his good rule and Dignity &c     L Gale Cler Indightm.ts
