attorney saith that he is not Inform'd by the same Aaron & Marg.tt his Clyants of any answer for the
Same Aaron and Marg.tt to the afd Mary in the plea afd to be given and Nothing Else thereof saith
whereby the same Mary Remains against the afd Aaron & Marg.tt thereof undefended
thereupon the same Mary her damages by Occasion of the premisses afd against the afd Aaron and
Margarett ought to recover   but because it is unknown what damages the afd Mary hath
sustained by occasion of the premisses the Justices here according to act of assembly in such Case made and
provided at the prayer of the said Mary do assess the damages of the said Mary by occasion of the premisses
afd besides her Costs and Charges to forty Shillings Currant mony
          Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the same day and year Last mentioned that the
afd Mary Broughton Recover against the afd Aaron Jordeen & Margarett his wife her damages afd
by occasion of the premisses afd by the Justices afd in form afd assesed to forty Shilling Curr.t money and
(995)   for her Costs and Charges the sume of Nine hundred & Ninty five                          pounds of tobo
by the Court adjudged in this behalfe Laid out and Expended & the defendent in mercy &c

Allen Hugh Porter of Somersett County Gentlemen in the province afd are holden
and firmly Bound unto the Right Honorble the Lord Proprietarie
    of the Provinces of Maryland in the full and Just Quantity of two hundred thousand
    Pounds of good sound Merchantable Leafe Tobacco and Casque to be paid to the said
    Proprietarie his heirs and successors to the which Payment well and truly to be made and
    wee Bind Our Selves and Every of us our and Every our heirs Exrs and Admrs Joyntly
    and severally for the whole and in the whole firmly by these Psents Sealed with our seal and
    and Dated the 19th day of November in the Ninth year of Our Dominion &c Ann Dom
    1724                        The Condition of ye above Obligation is such that if the Above Bound
    Joseph MccClester do well and Truly serve his Ld P Prty of the Provinces of Maryland his
    heirs and successors in the Office of High Sheriff of the County of Somersett within the province
    afd and in all things well and faithfully Execute the same Office and also shall render
    unto the Lord proprietarie and to others his officers a true faithfull and perfect Account
    of all and singular his Lordships Rights and Dews and to his Officers a True and Just Account
    of their fees that he shall or may Be Entrusted with By the said P Prty Govenours and
    Other his Officers within this Province to receive and Collect and his accounts to his
    Lord proprietarie his heirs and successors and to his and their Governours here for the
    Time being for the fines and forfituers and other Dews Belonging to the said P Prtaries
    Governours as also his Account of all fees Dews and Sumes of Money or tobacco Dew to
    any the Good Peopell within this Province any sum or sumes of Money or Tobacco
    Wherewith the Said Sherriffe Shall be Entrusted Dureing the Time of his sherrevelty
