247 and According^ly^ this fourteenth day of November afd wee the said William Selby, William Richardson and Robert Martin with the above Ephraim Heather Mett at Last Mentioned Stump and the said Heather aged fifty six years or thereabouts Being By us Examined on his Corporall Oath ^as^ afd (and No Defendant appearing) sayeth that the said White Oake Stump standing on the Brinck of a Steep Bank on the Southwest Side of a fresh water Runn about twenty Eight paces southwest from the said runn as afd he the said Heather in the year of Our Lord God One thousand seven hundred And In the Month of October as he thinks Mr James Round senior and his wife Came with him the Said Heather to the said Stump and the said Rond said to him the said Heather this is my Bounder which som of my Brothers People Cutt Down when I was in England and that he feared that Cutting of it might in Prossess of time Occation some dispute and that the said Round seemed ^to be^ much displeased Al the Trees Being Cutt Down and further sayeth Not William Selby, William Richardso^n^ Robert Martin
Just Sum ^of^ fifty three pounds Ten shillings and four pence Currant money to be paid unto the said Nathaniell, Sarah, Nehemiah, and Rickson Crappers Orphens as afd their heirs Exrs Admrs or assignes to the which Payment well and Truly to be made and Don wee Bind Our Selves Our and Either of Our heirs Executors and Administrators for the whole and in the whole Joyntly and Severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seal and Dated the 18th day of November Ann Dom 1724 The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above Bound Price Collins his heirs Executors or admrs doe well and Truly Pay or Cause to be paid unto the above said Orphans their heirs Executions Administrators or assignes the full and Just sum of Twenty six pounds fifteen shillings and two pence Being the Just Ballance due to them from their said fathers Estate when they shall attain to full age According to the deceased's will and An Act of Assembly then the Above Obligation to Be Void Otherwise in full force and Vertue Price Collins (seal) Sealed and Delivered Abraham Smith (seal) In Presents of Henry Alexander (seal) Thomas Hayward William Taylor |
