236 there being an assault made and him did beat Wound and Evilly treat so that of his Life it was despaired and other harmes to the said William then and there did do to the great damage of the Same William and against the peace &c wherefore the said Levin for our Said Lord proprietary prays advisem.t of the Court &c Levin Gale P Dom Pry Whereupon the said Daniel Hull in his Own proper person appears and being sett to the Bar (Information read) pleads guilty and submitts to the Mercy of the Court and prays that he may be admitted to make fine ^to^ the said Lord proprietary for the fact afd Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said Teague Daniel Hull be fined to his Lordship the Lord proprietary fifty pounds of tobo for the fact afd thereupon the said Daniel Hull is Committed into the Custody of the Sher of Somersett County there to remain untill such time as the fine afd and their severall officers their fees due by occasion of the premisses afd be thereof fully satisfied the said Joseph MccClester present in Court took Charge of the said Daniel Hull accordingly &c Joseph Gray appears according to his Recognizance Entered into to give Evidence on behalfe of the Lord proprietary against Daniel Davis &c Anthony and Randall West appears according to their Recognizance and are discharged &c by proclamation in Common form &c
to understand and be informed that a Certain Samuel Riggin Late of Coventry parish in the County afd planter the tenth day of august Seventeen hundred and twenty four at ye parish afd in ye County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court with force and armes in and upon a Certain W.m Taylor in the peace of God and our said Lord proprietary then and there being an assault made and him did beat wound and Evilly treat so that of his Life it was despaired and other harms to him the said Taylor then and there did do to ye great Damage of the same Taylor against the peace &c whereof the same Levin Gale for our said Lord proprietary prays advisem.t of the Court upon the premisses &c L Gale P Dom Propr Whereupon the same Samuel Riggin in his own proper person appears and being (Sett) |
