Thomas Pointer son of Thomas Pointer appointed Constable ^of Boquetennorton hundred^ in stead of Henry Jerman for the Ensuing
year who took ye oaths appointed & subscribed the oath of abjuration & test &c

   Thomas Perkins appointed Constable of Pocomoke hundred for the Ensueing Year in
stead of William Gray who took the oaths appointed & subscribed the oath of abjuration & test

       David Brown appointed Constable of Manocan hundred for the Ensueing year in Stead of Revell Horsey &c

       Whereas a Certain Jacob Crouch was and is possest with the Estate of a Certain John Phillips a minor
amounting to the value of four pounds one shilling and three pence &c thereupon Its ordered by the
Court that the said Jacob Crouch deliver unto a Certain William More all the Estate of the said John
Phillips Lett it be of What Kind soever and for the true performance ^thereof^ It's further ordered by the Court that
the said Jacob Crouch give Good Security &c    Whereupon the Said Jacob Crouch together With
Merrick Ellis and William More his security's all present in Court acknowledged themselves to owe
and stand Justly Indebted unto the said John Phillips in the penall Sum of Eight pounds two
shillings and six pence ster Mony to be Levied on their bodys goods or Chattells Land or tenements
Joyntly and Severally for the use of the said John Phillips In Case the Said Jacob Crouch do not
deliver up the Estate of the Said John Phillips Lett be of what Kind so ever to the value of four pds
one shilling and three pence when he shall be Legally required to deliver the same &c

province that now is for the body of Somersett County upon their Oath do present
that James Feillett Jun: Late of Stepney parish Labourer the tenth
       day of September Seventeen hundred and twenty four at Stepney parish afd in the County afd
       within the Jurisdiction of this Court with force and armes one adze of the value of five shillings
       Curr.t mony of this province of the Goods and Chattles of a Certain George Scott then and there being found
       then and there did steal take and Carry away against the peace &c and also against the form of the
       Act of assembly in such Case made and provided &c             L Gale Cler of Indictm.ts
       Testes      On James Dashiell John Handy George Scott, James Dashiell Jun

             On the Backside of the foregoeing Bill of Indictm.t it was thus Endorsed viz.t Billa Vera
       John Scott foreman  
                                                             Thereupon Command is Given to the Sher of Somersett County
       that he should take the said James Feillett Jun if &c to answer &c and afterwards to witt the seventeenth
       day of Novem ann Dom One thousand seven hundred & twenty four Comes the said James Feillett in Custody
       of the Sher in to whose Custody before that time was Committed for the Cause afd and being by the sher
       sett to the bar (Indictm.t Read) is thereupon Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe
       of the premisses afd says that of the premisses afd he is noe ways Guilty thereof and thereof
