    be then and there objected against him on his said Lordships behalfe and in the Meantime to
    stand and abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon and not to depart the same Court without
    Lycence thereof &c

                To the Worshipfull Justices of Somersett County now in Court

Sitting the petition of Henry Ballard humbly sheweth    Whereas your
                petitioners father in his Lifetime moved your worships to have Leave to turn a road
    on the north side of the head of Manocan River which was granted so farr as to allow him to Clear the
    Road afd for the Courts further approbation         Now so it is may it pleas your Worships that my
    father deceast before the afd road was Cleared which has been since done by your petitioner who prays
    that some One or more of your worships may be appointed to direct such amendm.t as may be thought
    needfull on the afd road upon which I pray an Order and your petitioner as in duty Bound shall
    pray                                                                        Henry Ballard

                     The petition af being read & heard and the premisses Considered   It's thereupon Ordered
    by the Court that John Jones and WIlliam Stoughton Gentl two of his Lordships Justices of the
    the peace for the County of Somersett goe & view the same Road & make their report to next Court &c

             Robert Jones of Somersett County Gentl: appointed pressmaster for the Bay side for the Ensuing
             Year in Stead of John Denwood &c

             James Round of Somersett County Gentl: appointed prestmaster for the sea side for the Ensueing
             Year in Stead of Robert Hill &c

                   John Laws of Somersett County appointed Constable of Manigh hundred & in Stead of W.m Jones
             for the Ensueing Year

                 Abraham Cordery appointed Constable of Wickacomoco hundred in stead of James Bounds took ye
             oaths appointed & subscribed the oath of abjuration & test &c

             Thomas Dickson of Somersett County appointed Constable of annamessex hundred for the Ensueing
             Year in Stead of John Davis who took ye oaths appointed & subscribed ye oath of abjuration & test &c

                               Thomas Milbourn appointed Constable for the Ensueing Year in stead of Hugh Nelson
               in Mattapony hundred &c

                                        John Holland appointed Constable of Baltemore hundred for the Ensuing
                      year in stead of Joseph Gray &c

               Roger Nicholson Jun appointed Constable of Nanticoke hundred for ye Ensuing Year in Stead
               of W.m Young         who took ye oaths appointed & subscribed ye oath of abjuration & test
