       for the Use of Somrsett County  In Case the said Henry Ballard doth not Comply with the act of
       assembly Entituled an act for Regulating the standard of English weights and Meassures and
       Safe Keep the same standard and for the due Execution of that Office of such Standard
       Keeper and that he deliver the same up in the Like good order as he received it when the
       same Standard shall be Legally required &c

    To the worshipfull Justices of Somersett County now in Court Sitting the petition of

Robert King sheweth               Whereas your petitioner is possesst of a percell
                   of Land Lying on the South Side of the head of Great Annamessex River in the County
       afd Now so it is may it pleas your worships that two main Roads passes through the Land afd
       as well in Length as breadth greatly to the prejudice of your petitioner who prays your approbation
       of the alteration made by the direction of the Overseer appointed for that part of the County roads
       Which alteration has been viewed by severall of your Bench who has Lately ridd those roads at the
       Request of your petitioner whose report thereon I suppose may be satisfactory to severall
       questions Necessary         I hope your worships favour herein will not be denyed one it being at my
       Own Expence and Charge and your petitioner as in duty bound shall pray &c

                   The petition afd being read & heard and the premisses Considered   therefore It is ordered
       that the said alteration made as by the pet.n afd Expressed be & remain as part of the County Road
       the said Robert King to make the same passeth & Good at his Own proper Costs and Costs and Charge
       and to Cutt about Eight hundred Yards of Ditch three foott ditch &c on the said road &c


Thomas Dickson

To the worshipfull Court Now Sitting the humble petition of Thomas
Dixson humbly Sheweth that whereas the road that Now is is very prejudicial
    to your petitioner and that he will at his Own Costs and Charge Clear a new road and
    Causway the same where it is need full and make ye same a firm passable road humbly prays
    for an Order to turn ye Said road and your petitioner as in duty Bound shall Ever pray
            the petition afd being read & heard and fully understood                        Thos Dixon
                                                                                                Its therefore Considered & ordered
    that the pet.n afd be Granted as praid the said Thomas Dixon makeing the New road good &
    firm and passable at his Own ^proper^ Costs and Charges &c


George Tulls

To the worshipfull his Lordships Justices of the peace now sitting the humble
petition of George Tull humbly sheweth that whereas your petitioner has a very
       Great family and Charge and is very scarce of plantable Ground to make Corn on for the
       supply of his family by reason of the road Runing so near his plantation therefore your
       petitioner humbly prays your worships to give your petitioner Leave to putt ye road
