thereof or that he the said John Hudson will do it for him &^c
          Whereupon the said John Bishop Jun in his Own proper person Cometh & defendeth the force
and Injury when &^c and says that he Cannot gainsay the plft his action afd against him brought
Nor Can he say but that the said five hundred pounds of tobacco afd is yett due and unsatisfied
wherefore the said plft prays Judgm.^t for his debt afd and his Costs and damages sustained by
Occasion of the premis detaining of the same debt &^c

                Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the Eighteenth day of august ann
Dom One thousand Seven hundred & twenty four afd that the said Joseph M^ccClester Recover
against the said John Bishop Jun as well the sume of five hundred pounds of tobo his
253   debt afd as also the sume of Two hundred & fifty three                                 pounds
of tobacco by the Court here adjudged unto him for his Costs and damages sustained by occasion of the
detainig of the same debt & the deft in Mercy &^c
