                August Court         1724         229
three pounds ten shillings and twenty four pounds of tobacco which sum was Recovered by the said
George Wilson against James Treharn on the Ninteenth day of Novem ann Dom One thousand seven
hundred and twenty three in Somersett County Court the said thirty three pounds ten shillings & twenty
four pounds of tobacco to be Levied of your Bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the use of
the said George Willson in Case the said James Treharn shall not pay and satisfie unto the said George
Willson the said thirty three pounds ten shillings and twenty four pounds of tobacco so as afd recovered
against him with ye additionall Costs thereon on the tenth day of Novem Next
the above Judgmt was Confesed before us two of his Lordships Justices            Jos Gray W.m Planner
for Somersett County the first day of august ann Dom 1724  Wittness our hands

    Ordered by the Court that James Caple King pay unto Jno Fleming and Merrick Ellis the sume
of one hundred & twenty pounds of tobacco Each for their attendance four days Each as Evidences on Behalf
of the said Capell King Against Alexander Hall they haveing made oath to the same &c

    Ordered by the Court that Capell King pay unto George Bozman the sum of sixty pounds of tobacco being
due unto him for his attendance two days as Evidence on Behalfe of the said Capell King against Alexander
Hall he having made Oath to the same &c

Ordered by the Court that Alexander Hall pay unto Jno Townsend ^Jn^ the sum of One hundred & twenty pounds
of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance as an Evidence four days for the said Alexander Hall als
Capell King he having made Oath to the same &c

Command was given to the Coroner of Somersett County that he should take John

Bishop Jun of Somersett County planter if he should be found in his Bailywick and him
                         should safe Keep so that he might have his Body Before the Justices of his Lordships County Court
        of Somersett to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August then Next to answer unto Joseph MccClester
    Esq.r of a plea that he Render unto him five hundred pounds of tobacco which to him he ows and unjustly
    detains &c and that thereof he should not fail &c
                         Att which said third tuesday of august to witt the Eighteenth day of the same month ann Dom one
    thousand seven hundred & twenty four being the day of the Return of the said Writt Cometh the ^said Joseph MccClester by Levin Gale his attorney and the^ Coroner of Somersett
    County to whom the foregoeing writt was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh return thereof to the Court
    here Endorsed in these words following viz.t   Cepi Corpus p me Jos Mc Jn.o Purnall Com.r

                Whereupon the said John Bishop Jun Being Called appears and thereupon the said John Bishop
    at the prayer of the plfts attorney afd is adjudged to give Speciall Bail to the action afd thereupon a Certain
    John Hudson present in Court undertakes for the said John Bishop that in Case the said Joseph
    MccClester shall Recover Judgm.t in the plea afd of the ^against^ the said Jos M John Bishop or that the said
    John Bishop shall be therein Convict that then he the said John Bishop shall pay the Condemnation
    of the Court thereupon or Render his Body to the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County in satisfaction
                                                                                                                                              (thereof)
