 This being an action of Debt for Eighty pounds &c wherein the Sherr of

Somersett County to whom the Writt in the same action was directed Comes
and makes Return thereof Endorst viz.t Cepi Corpus P Jos: MccClester sher
                   Whereupon the said Joseph Sumers being Called appears & thereupon the said Joseph
    Sumers at the prayer of the plfts attorney afd is adjudged to give Speciall Bail to the action afd
    thereupon a Certain John Davis of Somersett County Planter present here in Court undertakes
    for the said Joseph Sumers that In Case the said Southy Whittington shall Recover Judgm.t
    in the plea afd against the said Joseph Sumers or that the said Joseph Sumers shall be
    therein Convict that then he the said Joseph Sumers shall pay the Condemnation of the Court
    thereupon or render his Body to the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County in satisfaction
    thereof ^or^ that then he the said John Davis will do it for him &c thereupon the said Jos: Sumers
    by George Dashiell his attorney appears & Imparles till next Court &c

 This being an action of trespass upon the Case &c wherein the
sherr of Somersett County to whome the writt in ye same action
was directed Comes & Makes Returne thereof in these words
following Viz.t            Cepi Corpus P Joseph MccClester Sher
Whereupon the said Aaron Jordan and Margarett his wife being Called appears
and thereupon & there Spn Aaron Jourdan & Margarett his wife at the Prayer of the
Plfts Attorney afd is adjudged to Give Speciall Baile to the action afd thereupon
a Certain Richard Knight of Somersett County Planter Present here in Court undertakes
for the said Aaron Jourdan and Margarett his wife that In Case the said Mary Broughton
shall Recover Judgm.t in the Plea afd against the Said Aaron Jourdan and Margarett
his wife or that the said Aaron Jourdan and Margarett his wife shall be therein Convict
that then they the said Aaron Jourdan and Margarett his wife shall pay the Condemnation
of the Court thereupon or Render the Bodys to the Custody of the Sherr of Somersett County
in satisfaction thereof or that he the said Richard Knight will do it for them &c thereupon
the said Aaron Jourdan and Margarett his wife by George Dashiell their Attorney
appears and Imparles till next Court &c
