Persons to veiw the new Road that I have made and Clear'd and if thought to be more
to the advantage of people that travell's that way am in hopes your worships will Grant an
Order for the remaining of it and your petitioner Shall be thankfull as in duty Bound

             The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood  It's Ordered
by this Court that Capt John Jones and William Stoughton Esqr goe and Veiw the same
Road and make their Report at next Court &c

     To the Worshipfull Justice of Somersett County Now Sitting the petition
of William Lingo of accomack County sheweth that your petitioner hath a peice
of Land Lying in the forest of wickaccomoco Called new Holland and according to the Laws of ^this province^
your petitioner prays that their may a Commission Issue to Examine some Evidences for Perpetuating
ye bounds of the said Land and as in duty Bound shall Ever pray      Will.m Lingo

             The petitioner afd being Read and heard and fully understood   Its Ordered by the
Court that the petition afd be granted as praid and that Jn.o Caldwell, Jn.o Roach, Ebenezer
Handy and John Disharoon of Somersett County Gentl: be Commissioners to Examine
Evidences as by ye Petition afd is Pray'd &c

             Ordered by the Court that Jno MccClester and Mr Jno Handy & Mr James Dashiell
meet and Limitt Each Overseer his part of the road between the Ferry of Nanticoke & Wickacomoco
Ferry at Crocketts &c

       Whereas a Certain Isabell Obryan having Rented a hous at the Court ^hous for three hundred pounds tobacco p year^ the time being
Expired for which she had rented the same      The said Isabell OBryan present here in Court
agrees with the Justices to have the Same house One Year more &c  In Consideration thereof
the said Isabell is to pay unto to the use of Somersett County three hundred pounds of tobacco

of September Seventeen hundred and twenty four Came into Court in his proper person Levin
                Gale who for the right honourable ye Lord proprietor in this Behalfe prosecutes and for the said
Lord proprietor gives the Court to understand and be Informed that a Certain Mary Cook Late of Somersett
County Spinster the first day of November Seventeen hundred and twenty two with force and arms
at ye County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court Committed fornication with a Certain unknown
