       when &c and the afd Jeffery Flowers by his attorney afd then and there his writt afd against the afd
       Christopher did not prosecute with Effect but voluntarily suffered his suite to be discontinued &c
       Therefore this sixteenth day of June ann Dom one thousand seven hundred & twenty four by
       Discretion of the Justices (of the Right honourable the Lord proprietary of the province of Maryland)
       were adjudged the same Christopher Glass the sum of one hundred and fifty four pounds of
       tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him about his defence in that part Expended according to the
       form of the statute in such Case Lately made & provided and the afd Jeffery Flowers in Mercy ^&c ^ and
       that the afd Christopher have thereof Execution &c

 This being an action of trespass upon the Case &c wherein the sherr of Somrset

County to whom the writt in the same action was directed Comes & makes return
                               thereof to the Court here Endorst vizt Cepi Corpus    Jos: MccClester sherr
           Whereupon the said Charles Low being Called appears and thereupon the said Charles Low
       at the prayer of the plfts attorney is adjudged to give Speciall Bail to the action afd thereupon
       a Certain William Mills of Somersett County Planter present here in Court undertakes for the said
       Charles Low that in Case the said Lazarus Maddox shall recover Judgm.t in the plea afd against
       the said Charles Low or that the said Charles Low shall be there in Convict that he the said Charles
       Low shall pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or render his Body to the Custody of the
       sher of Somersett in satisfaction thereof or that ^he^ the said William Mills will do it for him
       thereupon the said Charles Low by George Dashiell his attorney appears & Imparles till next Court &c

       for the said Tobias Burke that in Case the said Lewis Jones Exr of Samuel Jones shall
       Recover Judgmt in the plea afd against the said Tobias Burke or that the said Tobias Burke
       shall be therein Convict that then he the said Tobias Burck shall pay the Condemnation of the
       Court thereupon or Render his Body to the Custody of the Sher of Somersett County in satisfaction
       thereof or that he the said Charles Low will do it for him thereupon the said Tobias Burke in
       his Own proper person appears & Imparls till next Court &c
