Aprill Cort    1723                                            (20)
       service as their said Master shall Imploy them in or about dureing their servitude afd &c
                      The said John Elsey ^sen^ Present herein Court doth Promise by these Presents to Learn the said John and
       Ernold Elsey Jun.r to Reard Write and Cypher as far as the rule of three and to take the Estate of the said John &
       and Ernold Elsey into his hand ^and Prosecution^ when Known what it is and to return the same againe to the said John and
       washing Lodging and Cloathing dureing their servitude &c   Whereupon it's ordered by the Court that
       said John Elsey sen give security with the suretys in the sum of fifty Pounds Curr.t mony for the Performance
       of ye Covenants afd &c                     Whereupon the said John Elsey Sen together with George Dashiell
       and Capwell King his Securityes all present in Court acknowledged themselves to Owe and Stand Justly
       Indebted unto the Joyntly and Severally unto the said John Elsey Jun and Ernold Elsey Jun in the sum of
       Fifty Pounds Curr.t mony to be Levied on their Bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements to the use of
       the said John and Ernold Elsey Jun.r   In Case the said John Elsey sen doth not Learn the said John Elsey
       Provide for the said John and Ernold Elsey good and sufficient meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing
       and to take into his hand ^and Personal^ Estate of the said John and Ernold Elsey Jun.r and to return the same to them
       again when they shall arrive to full years to receive the same then the above recognizance to
       be viod Otherwise to Continue in full force and vertue &c


          Upon the mocon of Francis Allen and William Tazewell Gent to this Court to have an attachm.t
       granted them against a Certain Edward North for not paying the sum of sixty seven pounds and ten
       Pence Curr.t mony and Costs of Suite (awarded by Certain arbitrators Between Capt Nathaniel Horsey and
       of Somrsett County and Coll: William Outter Bridge of Bermudas) to the said Cap.t Nath.l Horsey &c
            The Court haveing heard their several allegations ruld that an attachm.t should Issue against ye
       said Edward North on ye award afd &c


       Ordered by the Court that ye County Records be removed from Alexander Halls Gent and Lodged in the
       Court hous at Dividing Creek in the room or Chamber over the seal of Judicature &c

Levy Free
 Upon the Mocon of a Certain William Kains to be Levy free he being so aged that he was
not Capable of Labouring &.c       Thereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the Said W.m
       Kains befor ye future Levy Free according to ye Mocon afd &c
      

       John Caldwell of Sommersett County Gent Comes into Court and Produces to this Court the letter testamentary
       that was granted Margarett Lady Baltemore on the last will and testament of the right honrble Charles Lord
       Baron of Baltemore dec.d and prays that ye same may be recorded in Somrsett County Records and that ye
       Cl of said County may deliver him a true Copy thereof attested from under his hand &.c which is accordingly
       Granted him and Ordered that the Cl: Comply with ye afd Prayer &c
