Aprill Court 1723 Road and to find him sufficient meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing made for him the said John Kemp to have and wear during his servitude &c Whereupon the said John Evans is Ordered to give security for the Performance of the Covens afd Thereupon the said John Evans with George Dashiel his security Present here in Court acknowledged themselves Joyntly and Severally to Come and Stand Justly Indebted unto the said John Kemp in the sum of Ten pounds Curr.t mony to be Levied on their Bodys goods or Chattles Lands or tenements to the use of the said John Kemp In Case the said John Evans shall not Learn him to road and find him sufficient accomodations with Cloathing washing and Lodging dureing the said Jno Kemp his servitude afd &c
the Presentm.t afd before next Court &.c It's Ordered by the Court that the Said Mary Roberts give sery in thirty Pounds Curr.t mony for her appearance before the Justices of our County Court to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of A June next and to stand and abide ye Judgement of the Court and not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof Thereupon ^the afd^ John Ricketts master of the said Mary Roberts Present herein Court undertakes for the said Mary Roberts and acknowledged himself to owe and stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord Proprietarie in the sum of thirty Pounds Curr.t mony to be Levied on His body goods or Chattles Lands or tenements to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and successors. In Case the said Mary Roberts do not make her Personall appearance before the Justices of Our County Court to be held at Dividing Creek in Somrsett County afd the third tuesday of June Court next and to stand and abide the Judgmt of the Court and not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof &c then ye above recognizance to be void Otherwise to Stand and remain in full force and vertue in Law &c
Petitioner as in duty Bound shall Ever pray &.c Edward Gould the Premises afd being Considered It's therefore Ordered by the Court here that the said Edward Gould be for the future Levy free as by the Pet.n afd is Praid &c
the said John and Ernold Elsey to serve the said John Elesey Sen the full term of time afd in all such Lawfull (service) |
