Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the Sixteenth day of the same month ann Dom one
thousand seven hundred & twenty four Being the day of the said Writt Comes the said
sherr of Somersett County to whom the foregoeing writt was directed Comes & makes thereof
to the Court here Endorst viz.t      Cepi Corpus P Jos: MccClester Sher
             Whereupon the said Benja Tull in his own proper person appears and being sett to
the Barr is thereupon Instantly demanded how he would acquitt himselfe of the premises afd says
that of the premisses afd he is guilty thereof and is willing to pay three pounds Curr.t mony for the
fact afd               Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said Benjamin Tull be
fined to his Lordship the Right honourable the Lord proprietary of this province three pounds
Curr.t mony for the fact afd thereupon the said Benj.a Tull is Committed into the Custody of the
sher of Somersett County there to remain untill he pays the fine afd and all the fees that accrewed
upon the Indictm.t afd unto the severall officers the said sher being present took Charge
of the said Benja Tull accordingly &c

 Somersett fs:  The Jurors for the right honourable the Lord proprietary of this province
that now is for the body of somersett County upon their Oath do present that Joan Stack
late of somersett parish in the County afd spinster the fear of God before her Eyes not haveing
    but being seduced & moved by the Instigation of the Devill the tenth day of aprill one thousand seven
    hundred and twenty three at ye Parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court Committed
    fornication with a Certain person to the Jurors altogether unknown by reason whereof the said Joan
    Stack afterwards that is to say the tenth day of January one thousand seven hundred & twenty three
    at ye Parish afd in the County afd within the afd Jurisdiction was delivered of a bastard Child against ye
    Peace of the Lord proprietary afd his good rule & Dignity and also against the form of the act of
    assembly in such Case made & provide &c    Levin Gale P Dom Propy
    On ye Back of the foregoeing Bill of Indictmt it was thus Endorst viz.t   Billa vera Adam Hitch foreman

    Townsend of Covantry parish in the County afd spinster for that the said Eliz.a Townsend the fear of
    God before her Eyes not having but being seduced & Led away by the Instigation of the devill the
             day of June ann Dom One thousand seven hundred & twenty three at ye parish & County afd within
    the Jurisdiction of this Court did Committ fornication with a Certain person to this Inquest unknown
    by reason whereof the said Eliza Townsend on the         day of      ann Dom one thousand
    seven hundred & twenty               at the parish & County afd was delivered of a bastard Child against ye
    peace &c and agt ye form of the act of assembly in such Case made & provide &c
    on the Backside of ye foregoing Bill of Indictm.t it was thus Endorst      Billa vera Ja Mackmorie foreman
