187 goods and Chattells Lands or tenements for the use of his said Lordship Joyntly and severally In Case the said Isaiah Bredall do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of our County Court to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of august next to answer unto all such matters and things as shall be objected against him on his Lordships Behalf and to stand & abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon and not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof and in the meantime to be of good behaviour to all his Leige People and more Especially to the said John Holloway and his family &c Likewise the said Isaiah Bredall undertakes for his wife William Gray, Thomas Gray, Sarah Gray James Stevens Bredall & George Chancellor in the sum of five pounds sterr Each to be Levied on his body goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the use of his said Lordship in Case the Isaiah Bredalls wife William Gray, Thomas Gray, Sarah Gray, James Stevens Bredall & George Chancellor and Each of them & Every of them doe not make their personall appearance before the Justices of Our County Court to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of august next to answer unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary Concerning all such mattes and things as shall be then & there objected against him on his said Lordships Behalfe and to stand & abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon & not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof and in the Meantime to be of the good beheaviour to all his Lordships Leige People & More Especially to John Holloway and his family &c
son John, Son Joseph & his Daughter Elizabeth Holloways good beheaviour and makes Oath that he doth not require the suretys of the peace of their act of Malice but that he is affraid they will do him some Bodily harm or wound some of his family or burn his housing &c Thereupon It's ordered by the Court that the said John Holloway sen give security for his own good behaviour his wifes Joh son John, Joseph & Eliz.a Holloways good beheaviour & appearance at next Court Thereupon the said John Holloway together with Andrew Smith his security both present in Court acknowledged themselves to owe and stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the sum of five pounds sterr Each to be Levied on their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the use of his Said Lordship the Lord proprietary Joyntly and severally In Case the Said John Holloway do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of our County Court to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of august next to answer unto his said Lordship Concerning all such matters and things as shall be objected against him on his Lordships behalfe and to stand & abide the Judgmt of the Court thereupon and not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof and in the mean time to be of good behaviour to all his Lordships Leige People (and) |
