Sarah Wroughton
Wee of the grand Jury do present Sarah Roton for bearing a bastard Child in Stepney

Parish    Whereupon the said Sarah Roton being bound by recognizance for
       her appearance at this Court ^to answer &c^ the said Sarah Roton made her appearance and being sett to the Bar is
thereupon demanded how she would acquitt herselfe of the premises afd says that she is Guilty thereof &
submitts to the Mercy of the Court and makes oath that a Certain Thomas Bramble is the father of the Child
she stands Indicted for but hath not wherewithall to pay her fine for the fact afd &c
          Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said Sarah Roton be whipt at the publick
whiping post with ten Lashes on the Bare Back well Laid on untill the blood appear and that she
be taken &c and thereupon as to ye Corporall punishmt afd Command is given to the sherr of Somerset
County that he do thereof Immediate Execution according to the Judgmt afd Rendered by whiping the afd
Sarah Roton at the publick whiping post with ten Lashes on the Bare back well Laid on untill the blood
appear and afterwards in the same Court  the Sherr Returns that he hath done the Execution of the Judgmt
afd as to ye Corporall punishmt afd he was Commanded whereupon the said Sarah Roton is discharged
from her recognizance afd she giveing security for paymt of the severall officers their fees &c thereupon
a Certain Jonah Rotten present here in Court undertakes for the said Sarah Rotten and acknowledged himselfe
to owe & stand Justly Indebted unto his Lordship his heirs & Successors in the sum of ten pounds ster
to be Levied &c    In Case he does not pay the severall officers their fees due by occasion of the premisses afd &c

Hannah Ford
We of the Jury doe present Hanna Ford of Stepney parish for bearing a bastard Child

Thereupon Command is given to the sherr of Somersett County that he should take the said
                Hannah ford if &c to answer &c and afterwards in the same Court Comes the said Hannah Ford in Custody
of the sherr and being sett to the Barr presentmt made pleads guilty & submitts to the mercy of the Court &
makes oath that a Certain Richard Driskill is the begetter of the Child she stands presented for but hath not
wherewithall to pay her fine for the fact afd      Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices that the said
Hannah ford be had to the publick whiping post and then whipt with ten Lashes on the Bear back well
Laid on untill the Blood appear and that she be taken &c and thereupon as to the Corporall punishm.t
afd Command is given to the sherr of Somersett County that had thereof Immediate Execution according to

Case he does not pay the severall officers their fees due by occasion of the premisses upon the presentmt afd


Tobias Burck Recogn
       & Discharge
    Tobias Burck with Charles Lowe his security being bound by Recognizance before
Capt John Jones & Wm Stoughton Esqr for their appearance this Court
                            Whereupon the said Tobias Burck made his appearance and for as much as no person appeared
to pray that ye said Tobias Burk might Continue Longer Bound &c
    Thereupon the said Tobias Burck is discharged from his Recognizance aforesaid &c
