Should pay Taxes for him your petitioner humbly prays that your worships would be pleased to take in Consideration the great disability of said Negro and that your worships would be pleased to acquitt your petitioner from paying taxes for him and your petitioner is Bound Ever in duty to pray Benj.a Burton The petition afd being Read & heard &c Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that the said Negro of the said Benj.a Burton befor the future Levy free as by the pet.n afd is praid &c
and Cloathing as may be sufficient for him the said William Wolsher to have & wee dureing his servitude afd &c Whereupon It's Ordered by the Court that the said Robert Hill give good security for the performance of the Covenants afd &c Whereupon Its the said Robert Hill together with Nathaniell Wheely his security both Present in Court acknowledged themselves to owe & stand Justly Indebted unto the said William Wolsher in the sum of ten pounds sterling money ^Each^ to be Levied on their Bodys Goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the use of the said William Wolsher In Case the said Robert Hill doe not Learn him to read well in the Bible and to find him with sufficient meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing dureing his servitude afd mete for him the said William Wolsher to have & wear &c
of a weaver and to read and write dureing his servitude &c and to find him meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for him the said Robert Chambers to have & wear &c Whereupon Its ordered by the Court that the said Isaac Rapoon give good security for to Comply with ye Covenants afd &c Thereupon the said Isaac Rapoon and John Smith his security both present in Court Acknowledged themselves to owe and stand Justly Indebted unto the said Robert Chambers in the sum of ten pounds sterrling money Each to be Levied on their Bodys goods or Chattells Lands and tenem.ts for the use of the said Robert Chambers In Case the said Isaac Rapoon do not Learn the said Robert Chambers the trade of a weaver & to read & write and to find him sufficient meat drink washington Lodging and Cloathing dureing his servitude afd &c
