161 discharged from her Recognizance afd & ordered to give New recognizance for her appearance at next Court &c Whereupon the said Priscilla Langston Present here in Court acknowledged herself to Owe and Stand Justly Indebted unto the Right honourable Charles absolute Lord & proprietary of the provinces of maryland his heirs and successors in the sum of ten pounds ster to be Levied on his body goods or Chattels Lands or tenements for the use of his said Lordship his heirs & successors in Case the said Priscilla Langston do not make her personall appearance before the Justices of our County Court to be held at Dividing Creek the third tuesday of June next to answer unto his said Lordship Concerning all such matters & things as shall be then & there objected against her on his Lordships behalfe and to stand & abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon & not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof &c
him the said Pr John Huggins as he was Commanded &c thereupon the said John Huggins is Ordered by the Court to give recognizance for his appearance at next Court &c Whereupon the said John Huggins present here in Court acknowledged himselfe to Owe & Stand Justly Indebted unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary his heirs and Successors in ten pounds Sterr to be Levied on his Body goods or Chatteles Lands or tenements for the use of his said Lordship. In Case the said John Huggins do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of our County Court to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of June next to answer unto his Lordship Concerning all such matters and things as shall be then & there objected agt him on his Lordship's Behalfe & to stand & abide the Judgm.t of the Court thereupon & not to depart ye same Court without Lycence thereof
Thereupon the said Richard Filer present herein Court acknowledged himselfe to owe & stand Justly Indebted unto the Right honourable the Lord Proprietary his heirs & successors in the sum of ten pounds sterr to be Levied on his Body goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the use of his said Lordship In Case he does not make his personall appearance before the Justices of our County Court to be held at Dividing Creek in Somersett County the third tuesday of June next to answer unto his Lordship his heirs & successors Concerning all such matters & things as shall be then & there objected against him on his said Lordships Behalfe ^&^ to stand & abide the Judgmt of the Court thereupon and Not to depart the same Court without Lycence thereof &c Alex.d Lackey prays that he may be admitted to take the oaths to the Governmt to be qualified as Schoolmaster, Granted, thereupon the said Alexd Lackey tooke the oaths appointed by act of assembly & subscribed ye oath of abjuration & test &c |
